🍷 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗪𝗲𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆 🍷

This week, we’re shining the spotlight on Leidenfrost Vineyards - a family-owned winery on the southeastern shore of Seneca Lake known for its hand-crafted, small-batch wines made from 100% estate-grown grapes.

Founded in 1990, Leidenfrost was one of the first Finger Lakes wineries to feature a broad selection of dry red wines, including Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Baco Noir. Today, their lineup spans everything from crisp whites and sparkling wines to sweet favorites and port-style selections.

Their beautiful timber frame tasting room overlooks Seneca Lake, creating the perfect setting to slow down, sip, and take in the view. Guests can enjoy guided tastings, local snacks, outdoor seating, and the welcoming atmosphere that comes from being a true family-run winery.

Fun fact: The winery is led by father-daughter team John and Liz Leidenfrost, continuing a multi-generational Finger Lakes grape growing and winemaking legacy right here on Seneca Lake.
