How can there be so many graduations on the same day? Senior moms, you doing okay?
It's been the most fun and wild spring ever. I know I'm barely hanging on, and I don't even have a graduate this year!
Congratulations to all the seniors (and moms holding things all together). I can't wait to share some favorites from this session (and all my others, so sorry, I'm so very behind)!

While we did a LOT during this session to celebrate Reed's high school graduation, one of our objectives was to document him with his upright bass. Um....yes, please.

Let me share with you this image we created last night that is pretty much my favorite ever. This senior, on the cusp of being an adult, celebrating her favorite things--the water and the mountains--in a completely joyful, unabashed way. That, my friends, is what senior sessions should be about.
Let's celebrate and document your senior year, too. I am here for you if you have procrastinated. You still have time!

Following up on this gorgeous mama's maternity session....The in-between, candid shots are always my favorite. It's the layering, the behind the scenes, the unnoticed moments that make my heart sing.
You can see just how much these boys LOVE their mama and are so excited about their new baby.

So here's another stunning senior coming atcha....Oh. MY.
There are no words for how amazing Ryann is! What an incredible time documenting your senior year, and I'm SO glad we didn't realize you were going to major in English literature until AFTER the session because I would have geeked out with you the whole time about books and writing! (Spoiler alert: I was once an English major about a zillion years ago when dinosaurs roamed the earth)

Well, friends, it's that season again....senior season....and I've got some goodies to share already....
I mean, if you're not bringing your classic Jaguar to your session, are you even graduating or what? It's been such a delight to get to know this young man and his family over the years, and documenting Will's senior session was absolutely the best. Such a smart, delightful young man with a great family. So excited for Will in his senior year!

Can you just feel the JOY and excitement of this family getting ready to welcome baby #4??? With three of my favorite-ever high-energy boys, this family is in constant motion--lots of love, laughter, and anticipation for a new baby!
So excited for them to welcome their new sibling--a surprise! I shared that my three boys asked if we could order a sister off Amazon Prime when our #4 was due 😆 (we had another boy)
If you know this gorgeous mama, you know how much she cares for her neighbors, keeps those boys active, and is such an incredible friend! We can't wait to bring her a meal when this sweet baby arrives!

Homecoming!
Did y'all know I'm from Texas? And in Texas, homecoming means one thing: those big, huge, ginormous mum things!
Well, we won't have those here in Arizona. They probably would melt or catch on fire in the heat. So not having them simplifies things!
This group was complete 🔥🔥🔥 without the suffocating, chiropractic-inducing Texas-sized mums (not hating, my TX friends, but you have to admit, it's a trend that's difficult to understand outside of the state!)
I've been lucky to get to work with some of these guys since their prom, and I even will get to work with them during the senior year of mountain biking season. The. Time. Flies. What a fun night, you guys! Thank you for sharing it with me!
Oh, and, ahem, you SENIORS out there...it's not too soon to plan ahead for your senior session! Wink Wink!
