Baby’s First Podcast: ✅

Frankly, I love ANY opportunity to talk about my passions with incredible people, and today’s recording of Alyssa Smith’s Podcast, Local Bella, with her company Belladonna Media & Marketing Group at Vagabond School of the Arts was no exception.

During the interview, I shared how one of my favorite parts of entrepreneurship is building the life I want to live. I brought my kids with me to the studio, and friends, they SHOWED UP.

Right before we walked out the door, my pantsuit zipper broke off in my hand. I had to do a split second outfit pivot, finish my mascara, make sure the boys had entertain-yourself supplies, iron the new pants, grab a protein bar, find my shoes…you know. Typical parent-preneur stuff.

Not only did the kids pull through with battle-ready intensity (background shouting included:
“PACK A WATER BOTTLE!”
“GO GO GO!”
“MOM, DO YOU NEED COFFEE??? GET A THERMOS!!!”
“I FORGOT TO PUT ON SHOES!”),
when we arrived at Vagabond, I realized my oldest son had worn his “Team Wisegarver” shirt in support of me 🥹.

I celebrated this We Are Coming business accomplishment by treating us to fun drinks and sandwiches at Mimi’s on Lincoln and then meandering through my gardens.

I was rewarded with the season’s first hibiscus blossoms and our first ever apple from COVID planted apple trees 🥰.

Dream it, you business dreamers. And then get out there and do it. Because THIS version of you, right now, is what someone out there is looking for. Help them find it.

Thursday Co-working at Roughedges Confectionery and Cookery filled my cup today… both literally and mentally/emotionally! ☕️💖

It was refreshing to connect with MBA Confidante , College Hunks Hauling Junk and Moving, Scumaci, Beauty Elmhurst, and Stillwater Cove Therapy, PLLC AND get my scheduling done for next week 🥳

Also, the ube breakfast sandwich is completely to die for 🤤. Thank you, Kai, for your delicious creations.

We started the Summer off with a bang watching the Big Boy steam locomotive pass through town!
