I have had the fullest week. Husband has been sick, so I’m solo parenting, solo housekeeping, nursing my aching body from starting up soccer again, wrapping up a project and launching two more…

I didn’t see this fundraiser dinner coming until we looked at the calendar Monday night. I literally texted my babysitter to watch the kids while riding in the car to scope a retreat location on Tuesday.

The dinner was Kentucky Derby themed. And my immediate thought was $&* #. What am I going to wear?????

And then I remembered…the green dress. It is perfect.

I can confidently tell you the absolutely ONLY effortless thing I did this week was dress myself for this dinner. Brianna Galm | Personal Stylist is not lying when she promises to take the stress away when you need it most. I added this fun yellow jacket on top of what Bri had already curated…and was LITERALLY off to the races! 😜🐎

So. Instead of fully crashing out, I got to lavish in the monumental event put on by the Colette Tisdahl Foundation. If you did not attend this party, my friend, you MISSED OUT and better get your tickets next year.

Michelle Valiukenas Tisdahl is one of my favorite people, and this fundraiser showed off all of the reasons why: heartfelt details around every corner, family supportive atmosphere, tapping her community to support a cause dear to all of us, and THE FOOD. Are you kidding me?!?? It is 12 hours later, and I am still full.

Michelle, I’m ready to book my table for next year, and Bri, get your tape measure ready. Mama needs some outfits in 2027!
