Our members can also be seen assisting in service roles to support Houghton athletics.

The mission of the Boosters is to support the athletics programs and student athletes of Houghton Portage Township Schools in providing students with an opportunity to participate in a full athletic program. The Gremlins All-Sports Booster Club was formed to help provide financial and in-kind support for the Houghton-Portage Township Schools' athletic program, to encourage athletic participation and excellence for all student-athletes, and to financially subsidize all sports activities through fundraising and member participation. The booster club's fundraising efforts include management of the concession stands, stocking and selling merchandise and apparel in the Gremlin store, and planning the annual dinner/dance - our largest annual fundraiser. If you would like to become involved in booster activities - working in the concession stand or Gremlin store, or assisting with the dinner/dance - please contact one of the board members at [email protected]

The 2026 HHS varsity soccer season ended during the district playoff semifinal game against Kingsford with a 3-4 loss. Houghton goals were scored by Daniel Lounibos (Eli Garnell assisted), Eli Garnell (Matthew Bennett assisted), and Simas Lebeliunas (Lucas Mayra assisted). These boys have overcome so much this season and have battled their way to winning record this season. Hold your heads high, boys! You ROCKED this season! To our seniors (Max Massaway, Ben Waite, Lucas Mayra, Jacob Daniels, Max Sidortsov): thank you for your hard work and leadership. We can’t wait to see where your adventures take you!

One last time for HHS varsity soccer….. LET’S GO GREMLINS!!! 🧡🖤⚽️🖤🧡
