All of this was one session. The asanoha is an old Japanese h**p leaf pattern, and here it sits inside hexagons and octagons so the shoulder reads like it opens inward. The heavy black fill around the stars is what gives it that depth, and the cubes down the inner arm are all stipple.

One year healed. The shoulder went in first, the lower arm in the second session, and the inner arm in the third.

Healed work is the real portfolio. Fresh tattoos all look sharp under studio lights, but a year in you see what actually held: the fine lines, the dotwork shading, the spacing in the geometry. That’s what you’re getting.
