But comparison rarely tells the whole story.

I think so many of us spend more time waiting than we realize.
Waiting until we feel fully ready.
Waiting for certainty.
Waiting for someone else to validate what we already know inside.

But some of the biggest shifts in life happen when we stop looking outside ourselves for permission and start trusting our own inner knowing.

Not from ego.
Not from forcing.
Just from a grounded place of self-awareness and choice.

I’ve seen this so often in leadership and in life too — the moment someone remembers they actually do have agency, everything starts to change. Their energy changes. Their clarity changes. Their willingness to move changes.

We may not control every situation around us, but we do get to choose how we show up, what we believe is possible, and what we’re willing to claim for ourselves.

Sometimes the next step isn’t about learning more or waiting longer.
Sometimes it’s simply about giving yourself permission.

The honest, grounded truth that aligns with your values.

2. Make the decision you’re avoiding.
Indecision often signals misalignment.
Ask yourself: What would I choose if I were fully aligned with my values—not my fears?
Then move. Clarity follows action.
