Locked my keys (and all of my gear) o in the truck the very second I arrived at Cody & Ciara’s wedding… classic. 😅
Thankfully we got it unlocked quickly, and the rest of the day was just pure magic. So grateful I was able to capture their beautiful day and put together this video for them.

I’ve been absolutely terrible about keeping up with posting lately. Between wedding season and HVAC season both being in full swing, I’ve been in high gear. But I’ve got a good amount of weddings that deserve to actually see the light of day, so I’m making an effort to start sharing more of what we’ve been creating.

This one was an especially good one to start catching up.

I had the opportunity to film Jennifer and Alan’s wedding for Noah Weddle at the beautifully curated Westwood | Vowery & Estate There are some wedding days where you can tell pretty quickly that the couple is completely wrapped up in what the day is supposed to be about: getting married, being surrounded by their people, and actually enjoying it.

That was Jennifer and Alan.

There was so much personality in their day, but it never felt like the details or the production were the point. They were. The little moments between them, the people they chose to have around them, the laughs, the nerves, the excitement, and everything in between are what made this wedding so special to capture.

That’s one of my favorite parts of doing this. I get to step into a couple’s biggest day, usually knowing nothing about them beforehand, and somehow leave with hours of little moments that tell their story. Jennifer and Alan gave me plenty of those.

A huge congratulations to both of you. I hope this video gives you a way to relive this day years from now and remember not just what everything looked like, but what it felt like to be there. 🥂

Big shoutout to Isaac at Guardian Angel Tattoo for trusting me to run with the vision and do my thing creatively. When someone lets you fully tap into your style, it hits different.

Also gotta show love to Jamie Pirtle for always being down to jump in and be part of whatever I’ve got cooking. Having friends around you that just say “hell yeah, let’s do it” makes everything come together for real!

I really enjoy shooting this style of videos and have some more already lined up with other artists. I am ALWAYS down for trade work, linking or collaborating with creatives, small businesses, or anyone local trying to make something dope.

A decade in and still trusting the same hands 🎯
Shoutout to Isaac Bales at Guardian Angel Tattoo Studio in Martinsville. This man has put in serious work on me over the years. Most of my tattoos are his work, and the latest is a cover-up that proves why I keep coming back. He also recently finished buttoning up the filler on my sleeve and brought everything together super clean.
Beyond the work, it’s always a solid time in the chair, we spend time catching up, laughing at old stories, and always end up in deep conversation about Orthodox Christianity.
If you’re looking for someone who actually gives a s**t about the craft and the client, I can’t recommend him enough.
