We are saddened by the loss of our founder, Leon Shaw. Leon held a love for boating that began in 1960, when he opened Kentuckiana Yacht Sales with his high school friend William Brummett. With humble beginnings, Leon would become one of the early pioneers of fiberglass boat construction. His name will carry on through the countless boats he built, from Gibson Houseboats, Jefferson Yachts, Monticello River Yachts and Marlago Boats. A legacy that continues now through three generations and 65 years in business. Please join us in celebrating his life this Sunday at Scott Funeral Home.
