I had the opportunity to present LendingWISE to our Venice Chamber LEADS Exchange group this week, and it was a great time, but it was also more than that.

Standing in front of a room full of business owners, I was reminded of why this work matters. Every person in that room is carrying something. Payroll to make. A family counting on them. Employees who depend on decisions being made the right way. A dream they have poured years into, and refuse to let go of, even on the hardest days.

Getting to share LendingWISE with them wasn't just about explaining what we do. It was about letting them know they are not alone in the weight they carry. That there are people in their corner who understand what it takes to keep a business, and a family, moving forward.

That is the heart behind everything we do. Access to capital should never be the reason a good business, and the people who depend on it, don't make it.

Thank you to the Venice Chamber LEADS Exchange for creating a space where local business owners can connect, be honest about the challenges they face, and find real support in each other.

A little while back, we finally made it to the Eugenia Williams House here in Knoxville, a beautifully preserved piece of local history thanks to the Aslan Foundation.

Walking through those rooms was a good reminder that every landmark, every local business, and every community institution started with someone willing to invest in something bigger than themselves.

That's the same spirit we see every day working with business owners across East Tennessee. Preservation, growth, and legacy all take capital and the right guidance to get there.

Twenty-five years ago today, our nation changed forever.

We pause to honor the memory of the nearly 3,000 lives lost on September 11, 2001, and to hold their families, friends, and communities in our thoughts.

We remember the first responders... at the towers, the Pentagon, and the field in Shanksville — who ran toward danger to save others.

Throwback to the ribbon cutting for Christian Brothers Automotive's second Knoxville location on Oak Ridge Highway.

A year ago, we got to celebrate a decade of this business taking care of Knoxville's cars and trucks, and doing it well enough to earn a second location. Growth like that does not happen by accident. It happens because an owner built something the community trusted, one honest repair at a time.
