OPD Day 5
As Lena and I await our flight back to the US I realized I didn’t post our Day 5 information.

Day 5 was packed with the students’ final presentation: a compelling argument for FEU support on their cause. Two groups presented on the need for further development of cultural intelligence programs, two groups presented on the need for assistance with recruitment and retention of part time (volunteer) firefighters, and one group presented of the need for support of sustainable fire stations.

Resource Management on the Fire Ground Course

IDHS will be holding a National Fire Academy (NFA) course "Incident Command System (ICS) and Resource Management for the Fire Service" is a 2-day program for FY2026 covering ICS-100/200 requirements, resource management, and command skills for emergency/non-emergency incidents.
