This week, our Suite Escape community gathered (from kitchens, lake houses, home offices, and everywhere in between!) with Kalin Sheick of Sweetwater Floral for an hour of flowers, creativity, and a gentle reminder that sometimes the best thing we can do is make something beautiful simply because it brings us joy.

A few takeaways we’re bringing with us through the rest of the summer:

🌿 Done is better than perfect. Flowers aren’t meant to be flawless, and neither are we. Sometimes the beauty is in simply beginning.

💐 Protect your joy. Whether it’s arranging flowers, gardening, reading on the porch, needlepoint, or baking sourdough, make room for hobbies that don’t need to become a side hustle. Joy is reason enough.

☀️ Design a life that fits you. As Kalin reminded us, there isn’t one “right” way to build a meaningful life. Start with your values, build relationships first, and let the rest grow from there.

At Suite Escape, one of our core values is creating space for women to connect, grow, and leave inspired. This hour was a beautiful reminder that growth doesn’t always happen in big moments, it often begins with a simple conversation, a vase of flowers, or the courage to make time for yourself.

Here’s to porch conversations, fresh blooms, lake days, and slowing down just enough to notice the beauty around us.

Can we all agree to play hooky for the rest of July? ☀️

Not from work, from the pressure to have it all together.

Leave the dishes. Take the walk. Buy the flowers. Read one more chapter. Eat the dessert. Let the laundry wait. Lose your glasses. Find yourself.

The best kind of summer isn’t perfectly planned…it’s fully lived.

Here’s your reminder: you don’t have to earn a little joy. Sometimes “me time” is the very thing that makes everything else feel lighter.

Here’s to slower days, fuller hearts, and making the most of the dog days of summer. 💛

Sometimes the most important thing we can do is slow down long enough to hear ourselves.

What began as a conversation about yoga quickly became something much bigger, a reminder to trust our intuition, build a life rooted in our values, and create space for what truly matters.

That’s a wrap on another Suite Escape season - What a year!

This season, we’ve welcomed 25 incredible speakers and gathered more than 650 women around conversations that sparked ideas, built connections, and inspired what comes next.

To our speakers: thank you for sharing your stories, insights, expertise, and energy so generously. You challenged us to think bigger, stay curious, and keep moving toward what matters.

To every woman who joined us: thank you for showing up. For making time in your busy life. For asking thoughtful questions, sharing your experiences, and helping create the kind of community that feels increasingly rare, and increasingly important.
