One of our 517 Professionals members, Believers Food Pantry, is gearing up for their 7th Annual Scramble Against Hunger, and they're looking for golfers, sponsors, and community supporters to help make this year's event a success.

Every dollar raised helps support their mission of providing a hand up, not a handout, by offering food, hope, and compassion to neighbors experiencing food insecurity in our community.

One of the things I love most about 517 Professionals is that we’re not just focused on networking—we’re focused on growing as people and professionals too.

The second Wednesday of every month is our Professional Development Week, and this morning we spent time talking about productivity and time management.

We had a smaller group today, and honestly, it worked out perfectly. It gave everyone more time to share, ask questions, and be part of the conversation. Sometimes the best discussions happen when there’s room for everyone’s voice to be heard.

One of the biggest takeaways was identifying your Big Three for the day.

Not your to-do list.
Not the 27 things you could work on.
Just the three things that, if completed, would move your business, career, or life forward the most that day. This could also look like 3 things that use to be low priority but are not urgent and need to be taken care of!

Because let’s be honest—we’ve all had those days where we know exactly what we should be doing, but somehow we end up answering emails, organizing files, scrolling social media, or tackling everything except the thing that matters most.

Your to-do list will never be finished. There will always be more to do.

The question is: Are you spending your time on the things that matter most?

Before we left this morning, everyone shared their Big Three and we created a group chat to help hold each other accountable. Throughout the day we’ll be checking in, celebrating wins, and making sure those priorities don’t get pushed aside by distractions.
