Yesterday’s round table was honestly just really fun.

We switched things up a little and broke into groups of 2–3 people so everyone actually had time to talk, share, and connect a little deeper instead of trying to squeeze conversations in before or after the meeting.

One thing we focused on was taking action right there in the moment instead of leaving with another mental to-do list.

We made sure people were:
✔️ Following each other on social media
✔️ Sharing what kind of support they actually need
✔️ Talking about their “ask”
✔️ Making real connections instead of saying “we should connect sometime”

And funny enough… a lot of us realized we weren’t following each other like we thought we were 😂

It sounds simple, but it actually turned into a really good reminder that supporting each other doesn’t have to be complicated. Sometimes it starts with just pulling your phone out and making the connection right then and there.

We also passed along our “Member of the Month-ish” award 😂👏

Angela Wright with Independent Bank passed it on to Bill Kingsley with Diversified Insurance, and honestly it was really cool to see. Bill is one of those people who consistently shows up — not just at meetings, but outside of them too. He’s always connecting people, supporting others, checking in, and helping however he can.

We also had some awesome new guests in the room yesterday, which is always exciting.

And just a reminder — we do NOT have a meeting next week since it’s the 4th week of the month.

So use these next couple of weeks to actually follow up with the people you met. Schedule the coffee chats, the 1:1s, the lunches, the follow-up conversations… because that’s really where the magic of this group happens anyway.

Then we’ll be back at it on:
