We are ready to send our puppies to a good home.

We have evaluated them thoroughly.
They live with other dogs, cats & horses. Have been handled by lots of people. Ridden in a vehicle plenty of times. Know to sit, wait to be pet.

3 males :
- Duplo: big, friendly & laid-back
- Cinch: focused, personable & curious
- Gizmo: happy, social & cuddly

Puppies of our Nýja who is the daughter of Bella & sister of Tofa at Hestaland. Border Collie x Icelandic Sheepdog-ish.

Cinch & Duplo promoting our new track with lava footing by just being puppies.
The track also makes for a great playground for our Icelandic Sheepdog x Border Collie litter.

This beautiful man is on the lookout for a new riding partner.
Keilir frá Hvammi, born 2016, son of Auður frá Lundum II.
He enjoys a rider with precise hands & good balance who likes to work on technique but also enjoys a romp on the trails. Fun horse for a intermediate+ rider with feel & a sense of adventure. Has the potential to be quite showy on the track as well.

A scenery that can only made more beautiful by a large herd of horses.

Our trek with Hestaland stopped at Hallkelsstaðahlíð before & after an impressive day up in the mountains. What a location!

The herd running home over the dam, guided by our dogs. It's impossible to not stop & cherish the moment - every day.

Every day of a trek, we round up the horses in the pasture they spent the night in & bring them into a smaller pen to check shoes & to catch the riding horses for the next leg.

Other than most other breeds, Icelandic horses usually like each other's proximity, likely because it has helped them survive harsh conditions.

Nevertheless, they only spent a short time in this pen until we were ready to head out.

This was our stop at Hallkelsstadahlid before we the most magnificent stretch of this year's trek with Hestaland. Mummi didn't exaggerate - it was a glorious route.

What a collection of talent we got to see after our trek at Hestaland!

Þráinn frá Flagbjarnarholti wins the Honor Prize for Offspring at Landsmót 2026 & one of his sons - Safír frá Laugardælum - the category of 7 year old stallions with a jaw-dropping 9.28 for rideability.
