Five shows in Seventeen days. Hahahahahaha 😈 total chaos:)

August got away from me in the best possible way. Angine de Poitrine two nights back to back on the 12th and 13th. Statica at Ball Arena on the 22nd. DMB at Fiddler’s on the 28th. Avenged Sevenfold at BMO on the 29th.

Four completely different rooms, five completely different crowds. Somehow it all worked. I’ve played 🎸 most of my adult life. Nights like these are the reason I keep picking the thing up.

And September isn’t slowing down. Jack White and Pearl Jam are both on the calendar.

Starbucks (Starbucks ) pulled the plug on an AI tool after nine months. I don’t see that as a failure. I see a company testing what works, paying attention to the results, and being willing to change course.

That’s the mindset more leaders need with AI. The goal isn’t to use it everywhere. It’s to know where it actually makes sense.

Netflix using AI at scale for recommendation optimization makes sense. But having human oversight at every level is what smart AI leadership looks like. We can delegate more to AI, but human control over what we delegate and how it’s used always has to remain in place.
