Eugene Burger used questions to audience members that sounded like they would matter, but had no real bearing on the piece. "Do you believe in ghosts?" was an example. Whatever they answered, he responded with "Wonderful!" or "Perfect," and made them feel the answer was the "right" one. The participated, but he controlled the outcome!
