The Reset Spaces Collection 🌿

Workdays move quickly, and for many teams, a real break can be hard to come by. That makes the spaces set aside for a cup of coffee, a quick lunch, or a few quiet minutes especially important.

For this month’s collection, we’re highlighting the breakrooms, staff lounges, and shared spaces where people get a chance to pause and reset. Thoughtfully placed plants bring a personal touch to these everyday areas, helping them feel less like an afterthought and more like a space created with the team in mind.

There is something special about a room full of women learning from one another, sharing their experiences, and making new connections.

Leafscape was grateful to be part of the Little Rock Regional Chamber’s Women’s Business Conference: 9 to 5 & Beyond, where women from across our business community came together for conversations around leadership, wellness, growth, and everything that happens beyond the job title.

We were happy to bring a little life to the space with plants for the event and even happier to support an experience centered on connection, encouragement, and the women helping move Central Arkansas forward.

Strelitzia nicolai (streh-LIT-see-uh nik-oh-LYE), or as we usually call it in the industry, Bird of Paradise. You may also hear it called White Bird of Paradise, Giant Bird of Paradise, or Wild Banana.

This is one of those plants that knows how to take up space in the best way. Its tall stems and broad, architectural leaves bring height, movement, and a strong tropical presence without making a room feel overly busy.

In commercial plant design, Bird of Paradise works beautifully as a statement plant near large windows, in open lobbies, or anywhere a space needs vertical impact. Paired with a simple container, it can feel clean and modern. Used in a larger-scale setting, it helps soften hard architectural lines while still holding its own as part of the design.

It is bold, sculptural, and hard to overlook, which is exactly why we love designing with it. 🌿

A new school year is beginning, and the spaces prepared to support it are growing too.

We installed these plants at UA Little Rock Workforce late last year, and it has been rewarding to see how beautifully they have settled into the space. With thoughtful placement and consistent care, the greenery has continued to grow into its role, bringing warmth, texture, and life to the areas where students, staff, and community members gather.

As the campus prepares for another fall semester, we are proud to keep showing up for the plants and the people who move through these spaces every day.

💚 Member Appreciation Week Recap!

Last week was one of our favorite weeks of the year at The Root because we got to celebrate the people who make this community so special — our members!

We’re incredibly grateful for everyone who chooses to work, connect, collaborate, and grow with us. Member Appreciation Week was our little way of saying thank you and showing our members just how much we appreciate having them here.

Throughout the week, we treated our members to:

A beautiful exterior does not happen by accident.

Our Northwest Arkansas team keeps a close eye on every container, making seasonal adjustments when needed and providing the consistent care it takes to keep each planting looking its best.

These lilies are actually from last year, and seeing them return this beautifully says a lot about the care happening behind the scenes. It is a good reminder that dependable maintenance is not only about replacing what fades. It is also about helping the right plants keep thriving season after season.

We are proud of the steady, hands-on work our NWA team puts into every space they care for. 🌿
