Walker County’s first signature park, Adventure Acres, recently opened to the public, bringing a new nature-themed recreation hub to Rossville, Georgia!

The park features a nature-themed playground, splash pad, pavilion with restrooms, walking trail, solar powered charging station, and green space for non-organized recreation.

The playground includes more than 60 components, including a multi-lane zip track, swings and freestanding climbing boulders connected to a timber ladder.

The grand opening was an amazing event, despite the threat of some ugly weather, but the kids certainly didn't mind a little rain.

It's fun Friday and we're highlighting Pine Park which celebrated its grand re-opening earlier this month! Pine Park has been a neighborhood destination in the North Port Community since its original opening in 1980. The recently replaced playground structure saw over 32,000 visitors last year alone so it was important to provide a durable and functional design to meet the high demand of the space.

The new GameTime playground includes multiple climbing structures, sensory play features and a separate shaded swing area. Families visiting the park can also look for hidden design elements inspired by wildlife commonly found in the area, including a snake, frog, tortoise and butterflies!

What an exciting grand opening we had this week at Adventure Acres! The kids certainly didn't mind a little rain...🤣

Visitors can cool down on hot days at their new splash pad, which features over a dozen sprayers, spreaders, soakers, barrels, and buckets to drench anyone nearby.

This playground reminds us of sunshine! We were thankful to have worked with Shaping Academy in Miami, Florida to bring their Big Bee & Little Bee playgrounds to life. This was truly a labor of love from the school, our team, and our installers and we couldn't be happier with the amazing final product that is thoughtfully designed to blend the school's mascot, colors and culture with nature and dynamic play!
