You don't need a flight to Mecca to feel Hajj this year. Fasting. Dhikr. Sadaqa. Qurbani at home — the Prophet ﷺ tied real reward to all of these in this season. The deen itself, preserved through the four madhabs and the practice of the people of Madinah, was never as heavy as we sometimes carry it.

What weighs us down often isn't the Prophet's teaching itself. It's the layers of expectation we've accumulated. Ask Allah for clarity. Then act on what He actually asked.

Save this for the night you forget your worship counts.

Five things for the first 10 days of Dhul Hijjah, even if you're tired:

1. Takbir mutlaq — said freely, anywhere.
2. Takbir muqayyad — after every obligatory prayer from Fajr of the 9th of Dhul Hijjah to Asr of the 13th (Maliki position per Khalil).
3. Fast Mondays, Thursdays, Arafah.
4. Sadaqa daily, even small.
5. Set your qurbani intention.

Print this. Tape it to your mirror. The compound interest is what changes you.

"Ibn Abbas (RA), Bukhari 969 — no days are more beloved to Allah for righteous deeds than these ten. Hadith scholars preserved it in unbroken chains for fourteen centuries. So why does it slip past so many Muslim women?

Often because the routines for Ramadan are more developed, the cultural rhythms more familiar. The first 10 days of Dhul Hijjah ask for different acts — quieter, smaller — and they reward consistency over intensity.

Send this to the sister you trust to tell you the truth.

You bring Zamzam home in 5-litre bottles.

You sip it like blessed water.

But most sisters drink Zamzam without realizing what they're really drinking. It sprang from a mother's faith. It's been flowing for over 4,000 years. Its mineral profile is unlike any other water on earth. The Prophet ﷺ drank it standing — a sunnah unique to this water. And he said: ""Zamzam is for whatever it is drunk for."" (Ibn Majah)

Drink with intention. Every sip carries Hajar's tawakkul, Ibrahim (AS)'s faith, and Allah's mercy.

📌 Save this — you'll never sip Zamzam the same again

Bukhari 969 — first 10 days of Dhul Hijjah are the most beloved to Allah for righteous deeds. Fast. Dhikr. Takbir. Sadaqa. Dua. The Prophet ﷺ taught it clearly. The scholars preserved it. But it gets lost between the masjid and the morning routines of women everywhere. Dhul Hijjah for muslim women isn't a secret. It's just rarely passed down to us specifically.

"More beloved to Allah than any other days.

More rewarded than any other.

And most of us — sleeping right through them. The first 10 days of Dhul-Hijjah carry rewards no other days carry. Du'a is heard differently. Fasting is multiplied. Sadaqah weighs more. Even your hair and nails are honored if you intend Qurbani.

Sisters who treat these 10 days seriously enter the new Islamic year transformed. Sisters who sleep through them spend the year wondering why they feel stuck. Don't sleep through them this year.

📌 Save this and reread on the 1st of Dhul-Hijjah

Bukhari 969. Ibn Abbas (RA) reports the Prophet ï·º said no days are more beloved to Allah for righteous deeds than these ten. Classical scholars reconcile this with Ramadan's virtue by holding: best days of the year vs. best nights of the year. Laylat al-Qadr remains in Ramadan. Both are Allah's mercy. This isn't a competition with Ramadan. It's a second invitation.

Pick one act this season. Comment it below. We hold each other to it.

Allah didn't ask Ibrahim (AS) to give up money.

Or comfort.

He asked him to give up his son. And what Ibrahim (AS) said next is what every Muslim mother needs to hear. He didn't act coldly — he asked Ismail (AS) what he thought (Quran 37:102), showing tenderness even in submission. Surrender carries love, not numbness.

The 5 lessons in this carousel are for every mother facing a test that Allah specifically chose for her — because Allah only tests what He knows you love most. The ram came at the moment of the knife. What Allah asks you to surrender, He returns multiplied beyond what you imagined.

📌 Save this for the day your own test arrives
