There is no easy way to say this. Pls spread the word, anyone who is late from now on will never work for us again. Being late is unacceptable with any job you have and is no different when doing background work. No more warnings, if you are late you will be sent home without pay & will never work for us again.

FYI...On our new website, after a shoot is 100% cast we remove it from our website to free up cloud space, the only shoots you will see on your profile under “jobs” are the ones we are currently checking avails for. So if a job disappeared it's bc it's 100% cast. We do not leave up jobs permanently like Casting Networks does, we remove them due to website storage space.

A few common questions we get (answers below), thought we would share this with everyone.

1. On our new website, after a shoot is 100% cast we remove it from our website to free up cloud space, the only shoots you will see on your profile under “jobs” are the ones we are currently casting. So if a job disappeared it's bc it's 100% cast. We do not leave up jobs permanently like Casting Networks does, we remove them due to website storage space.
2. On our new website, we only need one main photo to use for submissions, if production needs to see more photos of our background talent, we’ll contact you for a recent selfie.
3. If you would like to replace the photo we are using for submissions, email us the picture you would like us to use so we can have our webmaster add it to your profile.
When choosing talent, production needs to see what kind of body type everyone is, pls send us a photo that is 3/4 length (from your knees to the top of your head) or minimum (from your waist to the top of your head).
4. On our new website, unfortunately production will only allow one car per profile from now on, many talent had multiple vehicles listed on their profiles & when production picked a specific vehicle that vehicle was never available which caused a ton of stress for production bc the director fell in love with a specific car that wasn’t avail. Our website only allows one vehicle per person.
4. If you still cannot log into your existing profile, even after our webmaster looked into it, pls create a new profile with a new email address & let us know.
6. On our new website, we removed the avail calendar on our new website. We will email all talent when a shoot comes in to let you know it's time to submit. We send casting/production all avail options to choose from. If chosen we will text you to recheck your avail at the time of booking, you can then either accept the shoot or let us know you are no longer avail.
7. When we check avails, we are only checking avails & will recheck your avails again at the time of booking. For Sag members, casting companies cannot "hold" or "on avail" you without paying you a full session fee. So basically no one shoudl be "holding you" unless they are paying you. You have up to 6 months to file a claim with Sag if a casting company is "holding" or "on availing" you for a shoot without paying you a full session fee.
8. Sag members get a full paid session fee if canceled on a shoot or if the shoot day was moved to another day, 1/2 session fee if a cancellation or shoot day move is due to bad weather. You have up to 6 months to file a claim with Sag if someone canclled you or moved you to anther work day without paying you.
9. Sag Commercial members get paid a $21.36 wardrobe bump per each outfit you BRING to set, not worn. You have up to 6 months to file a claim with Sag if a casting company is asking you to bring volutanry options or multiple options without paying you for them.

(WHERE IS MY CHECK?). Hi Everyone, just sending out my friendly reminder regarding "checks". We continuously keep getting questions about "where is my check?". Pls feel free to have these discussions on set so those who need this info can receive. Basic guidelines are (Sag checks will usually be mailed within 15 business days after working, add in weekends & add in 3-5 days for the USPS to deliver checks & that gives you roughly around 30 days after working for checks to arrive). (For Non Union talent, anyone who works the 1st-15th checks should be mailed by end of that month. Anyone who works the 15th-31st checks should be mailed by the 15th of the following month. Again after the USPS takes 3-5 days to delver that check that gives you roughly around 30 days after working for checks to arrive). There is no need to contact us, the casting company or the production company/agency regarding checks. All checks are processed & paid by the PAYROLL COMPANY handling that job, that information should be listed on your paperwork, do NOT leave set without a photo or copy of every page of your paperwork & without knowing who the PAYROLL company is (if it is not listed nicely ask the AD department to provide that info before leaving set). Examples of payroll companies are: (Extreme Reach Payroll, Team Services Payroll, Talent Partners Payroll, etc). Due to identity theft reasons, the payroll company needs to speak to all talent directly if you have a question about a check. So after roughly 30 days has passed, pls contact the payroll company directly if you have a question about your check. Might be a good idea to keep an organized list of all the payroll companies in town, their contact info, emails, etc, most of that info should be listed on your paperwork that they give you on set, it is also listed on the paystubs that you get in the mail. Some of you need the payroll company info anyway for unemployment purposes, the payroll company is considered your employer (the company who is paying you is your employer) we, nor casting, nor production/agency are the employer, the employer is the PAYROLL company (the entity paying you). I know that will be confusing for some, but the unemployment office needs the payroll company info when they ask for the employer of record. If you have any questions about this, pls feel free to ask the full time extras you see on set, they should be up to date with this info & can explain it further. Basically do not set without knowing who the PAYROLL company is (that info is listed on your paperwork) & pls allow at least 30 days for that payroll company to mail you that check. Once again you can contact the payroll company anytime if you have questions about your check. Thank you everyone for your hard work as always !!! Hope to see you all soon on a job.

(Sag Checks) Hi Everyone, thought we should share this with you all, have had many conversations about this lately. The Sag rule on when talent should be paid (for commercials) is that checks should be mailed 15 business days after working. If not, there is a $4.49 daily late fee with a $112.25 maximum late fee (per the Sag rules).

Some agencies who cannot collect a payment from the product company on time, will elect to pay late fees. So some checks will not arrive on time, no matter how many times we call the payroll companies, no matter how many claims you file with Sag.

After 30 days has passed (that is the 15 business days & weekends, holidays, time it takes the USPS to deliver your check, etc), you are AOK to reach out to the extras casting company so they can check to see how late checks will be. I would reach out to casting first before filling claims with Sag. Either is AOK, just might be faster to get answers if casting tries to get answers first. But please wait until 30 days minimum has passed.

It seems that many checks are being mailed late these days, just know that you will be paid, guaranteed, so pls do not panic if your check is late.

Sending this to everyone bc many are asking about this. We nor casting chooses who works, production/ad agency execs/director/producer chooses who they want to work on set & who will be booked for each & every role. We have no say in that process, we simply lay out a buffet of avail options so they can select everyone & then select replacement choices if someone is no longer avail. If you are booked for a shoot & you get picture picked by production for a higher paying role, we will always give you that option at the time of booking. No need to ask us to switch you to the higher paying shoot, just submit for everything & if a better paying job comes your way you can cancel the lower paying one. Thanks Everyone.
