Well that was fun. I spent an hour and 4 minutes waiting for someone to pick up my call at the rental registry help line to be disconnected by system issues. Boy howdy they not going to like it when I reach someone. They're going to need extra coffee and snacks and an empty bladder 😳🤣🤷♀️
Update next hold time was 18 m and learned that I could not be helped today. Please try back tomorrow, we're about to close. The outgoing hold message reports that office hours 730a to 5p but she says best to call between 9a and 3p. Yes ma'am I sure will! In the meantime I learned that the office was not prepared. No additional staff was added to handle the constant queue and increased volume of calls. Condos are tricky. And I offered to help reduce the call volume if they will walk me through one. *she asked if I have the instructions. Yes ma'am. I sure do! I've been handing them out, but you just agreed that my properties are tricky! Talk to you tomorrow!👌
Update - lucky Cindy who picked up my call again and was more than happy to talk with me after the initial shock of knowing that my reach extends to hundreds of local real estate investors. (I didn't even bother to mention my out-of town clients) 🤫

RENEWAL letters are going out in batches after being quality checked by the same 6 people working the phones and front desk. To use the "link your license" feature, you must have the actual letter with the pin #. Expired licenses must be renewed rather than registered. KEEP THOSE LETTERS
She's going to clarify FEIN or OL3 #. She was told FEIN. I read to her the portion of the ordinance requiring lmrc registration and she agreed that it made more sense to require OL3 # 🤔
