We were able to team up with our friend, the original creator of most of these little guys, at the Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, OH this past weekend. A nice clean up and refresh have these guys ready to continue their hard work of providing smiles and joy in a place where sometimes it's a bit hard to find them.

I am supposed to write something long...but what can you write about a restoration and its daylight? No 2 can be repaired the same because somehow it's always different. This restoration? These metal bands will NOT come out. The client is ok with it. They are so deep into the wood that the entire figure will be destroyed trying to dig them out. With it being a reproduction means tearing apart a solid piece of wood. So a little saws all and dowels and a large ratchet strap it is.
