Financial organizations manage the most sensitive information for our citizens.

The Identity Theft Resource Center recorded 739 data compromises in financial services in 2025, the highest of any industry it tracked.
For federal financial organizations, protecting that information means knowing where sensitive data lives, who can reach it, how it's being used, and whether those protections follow the data through its full lifecycle.
Perimeter thinking can't answer those questions. Zero Trust can.

DMI's Zero Trust approach follows NIST SP 800-207 and CISA's Zero Trust Maturity Model across all five pillars, with continuous verification replacing implicit trust:

• Identity: Certificate- and PIV-based authentication, conditional access evaluated at every request, and just-in-time, just-enough privilege instead of standing access.

• Device: Health and configuration posture as a precondition for access, with automated compliance enforcement and immediate remote wipe when a device is lost or compromised.

• Network: Micro-segmentation and secure service edge controls that contain lateral movement rather than trusting anything inside the boundary.

• Application: Zero-trust access controls on every interface call, security and secrets scanning inside the delivery pipeline, and configuration guardrails enforced as code.

• Data: Continuous discovery and classification of sensitive records, fine-grained and role-based access to financial and PII datasets, data masking so production data never lands in test environments, data loss prevention extended to generative AI usage, and encryption at rest, in transit, and in use.

Building privacy into the environment from the start reduces exposure and shortens the distance between a policy and its enforcement.

Privacy is not just about protecting data or a compliance requirement. It's about protecting the trust people place in your organization.

The value of analytics isn't how much data you collect. It's how quickly you can turn it into action.

For organizations operating in regulated environments, that visibility matters. Leaders need to see changing conditions, identify issues, and act on reliable information without waiting for yesterday's report.

DMI helps organizations connect data, analytics, and operational workflows so information is available where decisions are being made.

For one state government organization, DMI replaced legacy systems built around reactive reporting with a modern platform providing real-time analytics to more than 2,000 users across 2.75 million migrated records. The result: a 25% overall increase in worker productivity.

Real-time analytics matters when information changes what someone can do next.

Congratulations to Will Williams, DMI's new Vice President and General Manager of Capital Services.

Will now leads our Washington, D.C. programs under one team, including the work we do for WMATA, the U.S. Senate, and the Library of Congress. He brings 34 years of executive leadership and a background as a U.S. Air Force officer.

"Bringing these programs under one leader lets us run them with more consistency and put AI to work where it helps our teams decide and act faster," said CEO Rocky Thurston.

In 2003 he also founded a telecom company in Kosovo that still delivers broadband to NATO forces at Camp Bondsteel.

Welcome to the role, Will. Here's to helping our customers Do More Intelligently.

Welcome to Bharat Soni, DMI's new Vice President and General Manager of Federal Services.

Bharat will lead our Federal Services portfolio and our growth across the federal mission space. He spent three decades building the large delivery organizations behind some of the government's most demanding programs, most recently at Accenture, Guidehouse, and C3 AI.

"DMI is building its federal delivery around AI, embedding automation and intelligent decision systems into the programs agencies rely on. That's where I've spent my career," said Soni.

Glad to have him. Excited to watch him help our customers Do More Intelligently.

Another great MACo Summer Conference in the books!

A highlight of this year’s conference was bringing together DMI, ServiceNow, and public sector leaders for our Solutions Showcase, “The Digital Front Door to County Government: Better Services, Faster Outcomes, Lower Cost.”

The conversation focused on a challenge counties across Maryland are navigating every day: how to meet rising resident expectations while working within limited resources. We explored practical ways to centralize service requests, improve transparency, streamline operations, and create better experiences for both residents and employees.

Thank you to Gary Aughinbaugh, Fred Maier and Charles Rayburn for joining the conversation and sharing their perspectives, and to ServiceNow for partnering with us to bring the session to life.

Beyond the showcase, it was a great few days connecting with county and state leaders, hearing firsthand about their priorities, and discussing how technology can help Maryland communities deliver services more effectively.

Thank you to the Maryland Association of Counties for another great conference. We’re looking forward to continuing the conversations.

Infrastructure issues rarely start as infrastructure problems. They become operational problems.

Public sector organizations operate complex IT environments that must remain secure, reliable, and responsive to evolving demands. Aging infrastructure, fragmented systems, and increasing cybersecurity requirements can limit agility and strain operational performance.

DMI’s End-to-End IT Infrastructure Management delivers a comprehensive approach to modernizing and optimizing federal civilian environments. From network operations and cloud management to cybersecurity, service delivery, and performance monitoring, we provide integrated solutions that strengthen resilience and improve operational efficiency.

By aligning infrastructure strategy with operational priorities, DMI helps organizations enhance service delivery, reduce risk, and build scalable environments designed to support long-term modernization goals.
