Today marks the day the followers of Christ were filled with the power of the Holy Spirit — the very presence of God — and empowered to carry His message into the world. Yet sadly, many churches may pass over Pentecost without even mentioning it.

This post isn’t about criticizing that reality. It’s about reminding you of something powerful:

You are part of something far greater than yourself.

Pentecost was not just a moment in history — it was the beginning of believers being empowered by God to walk in purpose, boldness, truth, and victory. The same Spirit that filled the early Church is still alive and moving today.

So today, I encourage you to simply wish someone a Happy Pentecost. Maybe that small act will open the door to meaningful conversations, renewed faith, and greater awareness of what this day truly means.

Never forget: this was the day God empowered His people to advance His Kingdom, shine light into darkness, and walk in victory through His Spirit.

Be encouraged. Be bold in love. Be the light.

Many get trapped in Empire or Babylon ways of thinking and need to disengage from them to adopt different, life-giving approaches.

“You don’t have to carry this alone.”

Many of us face silent battles—trauma, anxiety, addiction—and it can feel like we have to face them on our own. But Jesus meets us right where we are. He doesn’t wait for us to “have it all together” before offering His peace, His healing, and His freedom.

Psalm 34:18 reminds us, “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” 🕊️ And John 8:36 promises, “So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” True healing begins when we invite Him into our reality, allowing His Spirit to guide us and letting others walk alongside us.

You are loved just as you are.

It can feel heavy to try to hide your struggles or be “strong” all the time. But Jesus doesn’t ask for perfection — He invites you into rest, healing, and true connection.

Galatians 5:1 reminds us, “It is for freedom that Christ has set us free.” ✨ You don’t need to fix everything first. You don’t need to carry your burdens alone. God meets you where you are and walks with you, and His people are here to support and pray with you. 🕊️

We often try to build someone's faith without understanding the foundation of their life.

If a person's nervous system is stuck in survival mode because of past trauma, they can't simply "choose" to feel safe just because we tell them to. A trauma-informed ministry realizes that safety is a prerequisite for healing.

Proverbs 24:3 tells us, "By wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established."

We need the wisdom to know how to minister, not just what to say. When we operate with understanding, we establish a firm foundation where people can actually process their pain and experience the Holy Spirit without fear.
