People thrive when they feel connected to their purpose 🌱

Strong associations help protect that connection by creating spaces where people feel supported, valued, and part of something meaningful, like we see each year at TalleyCon, reflected in these moments with our team.

During Mental Health Awareness Month, it’s a reminder that purpose is closely tied to well-being. There’s something powerful about feeling grounded in the work you do.

We’re so fortunate to do work in the association space that centers around purpose every day.

Happy Memorial Day 🇺🇸

We honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice, whose legacy reflects the same enduring value associations strive to uphold daily: a commitment to something greater than ourselves.

We pause in gratitude today.

Most associations don’t actually have a content problem, they have a consistency problem.

Do any of these consistency roadblocks sound familiar from the slides below? đź‘€

Even great content loses momentum when there is a lack of consistency.

That’s where structure and ex*****on make the difference.

Save this for later as a reminder when building your content plans ⬇️

Inside our Comprehensive Technology Assessment at Talley đź’ˇ

We recently completed an internal cross-functional evaluation of our association management and event technology with one goal in mind: to better serve our client partners and help them more effectively leverage technology to advance their missions.

With technology and innovation as a core service pillar, we brought together 50+ employee owners across meetings, member services, finance, programs, and marketing to take a deep and intentional look at how our systems support the work we do every day.

The requirements were shaped by the real-world experiences of 25+ client-partner associations across industries, regions, and sizes, ensuring the bar we set reflected the organizations we actually serve, not a theoretical standard.

This work reflects what we value most at Talley: collaboration, transparency, and innovation, and reinforces our commitment to continually improving how we support associations and their members.

If your association is thinking critically about how technology can better support members, engagement, and growth, let’s start a conversation: https://bit.ly/3LIoEpZ

AI is showing up daily in association work, but most teams are still using it without clear rules or a shared strategy.

That is where things start to break down.

Our latest blog explores a simple, practical approach to building an AI policy that helps associations reduce risk, stay consistent, and actually get value from the tools they are already using: https://bit.ly/48ylcpX

Today, we’re celebrating the parents, mentors, caregivers, and mother figures who influence the way we show up for others every day 💙

These photos feature a few team members alongside their moms and mother figures who have made a lasting impact on their lives.

Talley wishes everyone a meaningful Mother’s Day 🌸

The global landscape for international meetings is rapidly changing... so shouldn't the RFP process be reimagined as well? 🤔

For years, the process has largely focused on logistics, pricing, and procurement-style evaluation. But the expectations around meetings, destinations, and impact have evolved far beyond that.

We are excited to share a major new release on our website:

“Reimagining RFP Processes for International Association Meetings: A Blueprint by the World PCO Alliance”

Developed from a collaboration with international destinations and PCOs, this white paper explores how the RFP process can become more transparent, more mission-driven, and more aligned with the future of meetings.

Inside, we explore:
➡️ Why mission alignment must sit at the center of RFPs
➡️ How value now extends beyond logistics into cultural, social, and ecological impact
➡️ A more transparent and equitable approach to evaluation and decision-making
➡️ Earlier-stage qualification to reduce wasted effort on both sides
➡️ New thinking around shared risk, shared responsibility, and shared success

This is a call to reimagine not just how we bid, but how we define success in international association meetings.

The full white paper is now available on our website: https://bit.ly/4uO0pHt

From coast to coast, Talley is helping bring standout events to life 👏

In Los Angeles, our team is at the 2026 WTS International Annual Conference, where transportation leaders from across North America are coming together to connect and shape what’s next. Leslie and Maria from our Meetings team are on the ground helping bring the experience to life.

Over in Newport Beach, the American Radium Society just concluded a successful Annual Meeting, uniting leaders in oncology for impactful education and meaningful exchange.

At Talley, we don’t just manage events. We help our association partners rethink event strategy, drive registration and non-dues revenue, build engaging programming, and create experiences attendees remember long after they leave.

That’s the difference between hosting an event and delivering one that truly matters.

Looking to elevate your next association event? Let’s connect: https://bit.ly/3LIoEpZ

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and one of the most overlooked drivers of mental well-being is something surprisingly simple: volunteering.

Take a look at resources like the Mayo Clinic (https://mayocl.in/4cL0N3y), which highlight that volunteering can help reduce stress, combat depression, and improve overall mood and well-being.

That connection matters more than ever, especially in the association space.

So much of association work is already rooted in purpose:
• Building community
• Creating meaningful connection
• Supporting missions that improve lives

Even when it is not labeled as mental health work, the impact shows up in how people feel, connect, and engage.

Purpose and service are not just good for communities. They are good for mental health 🌿

At Talley, we are proud to support associations that create that kind of impact every day.

Last week, we had the joy of participating in Bring Your Kids to Work Day and welcoming some amazing young visitors into our office.

It was such a fun change of pace to see the office through their eyes, with curious questions, big smiles, and a lot of excitement about what we do and how we work together to support associations.

Even at a young age, their curiosity and energy were contagious. Moments like this are a reminder of how important it is to create space for learning and inspiration wherever we can.

Thank you to our team members’ children for spending the day with us, and to our team for making it such a memorable experience 💗
