Prices on the website have been updated for mobile and base amps. I’ve tried to do everything I can to not raise prices, but at this point, we absolutely have to. We haven’t had a price increase in almost 6 years while everyone else raises prices every year for the same cookie cutter amplifiers.
We have removed all the 2879C amplifiers because we don’t have any faith in that transistor and we haven’t built with the 2879C in quite a while.
We don’t have much faith in this new hg transistor that’s been talked about for 4 years now either….
Update on main boards. 1 transistor through 2x4, mobile and base are double sided .062 thick and 1oz per copper. 6 transistor and up, mobile or base is also double sided, .062 thick , and 2oz per copper. Currently we are the only builder using double sided boards, this thick and we have a higher copper content then anyone. Most are using thin boards and 1/2 oz per copper clad.
We are also hand cutting all our boards here in house. Our boards are custom to the customers needs, not 1 board for 6 different amplifier combinations. Nothing wrong with that but takes the craftsmanship out of building an amplifier, in our opinion. We also use Oxygen free copper wire, none of that copper clad aluminum junk..
We try our best to be a truely custom built shop, using the highest quality materials that we can get ahold of.
We are not here to build cookie cutter amplifiers. We are here to make the best, custom amplifier possible with the highest quality materials available.
Please consider all of this before crying and comparing prices to other builders because we are not like the other builders.
