Spring season means fort season. This 12x16 deck with an 8x8 structure is built around a strong, mature tree and loaded with features. Rock wall, loft, bucket and pulley for nonstop fun, and space to let kids be kids.

This tree fort was built for a big, adventurous family that loves being outside—and it shows in every detail. A climb-up rock wall with a rope, a trap door surprise, a slide exit, and a classic bucket-and-pulley for hauling up treasures.   The fort sits on an 8’x16’ deck with an 8’x8’ enclosed structure, all securely braced by two mature trees for years of play ahead.

Such a special build!

The family was incredible, the weather showed off the whole week, and the plot of land was straight-up storybook beautiful.

Projects like this remind me why I love what I do — good people, great energy, and creating something their kids will remember forever. 🌳 🏠

Birthday Build! 🎉
We had a blast creating this fort for our client’s daughter’s 10th birthday! 🥳

This one was a special project — a 12x14 platform attached to a large oak tree, with an 8x8 lofted structure, plus the tallest fireman’s pole we’ve built to date. And since the fort sits high up, we added a cozy hammock swing underneath for even more fun.

Projects like this remind us why we love what we do — building memories that last long after the candles are blown out. ✨

Biggest fort we’ve built yet! This one wasn’t just for one family—but multiple—which is why it stretches over a backyard fence to connect two yards into one epic play zone.

It’s got a rock wall, trap door, loft, and a functional bucket and pulley system. The large wraparound deck circles a tree, adding extra space to climb, hang out, and play.

This fort perfectly captures what we’re all about at Backyard Fort Co.—creativity, play, and connecting with nature. This family wanted to embrace the woods just beyond their fence and bring a tree right into the heart of the deck. We love how this build turned out and can’t wait to bring more dreams to life.
