We lost Ashe Underwood yesterday…. A client for over 21 years… he knew exactly what songs I would love of his and which ones just weren’t me… he would march in my office and say listen to this one, you’ll love it … and he was always right. I’m a sucker for a story song and he was a master. He always let me fight for him even if he didn’t truly understand why I was fighting over a license or infringement. I think he just knew I was taking care of him and that meant a lot to me. The talks about my Daddy and his Mom… the jokes… his craziness running in to my office to give me “the best” broccoli salad he found somewhere… all the pig videos he sent me because he knew I loved them… thanks for the laughs, the hugs and the friendship… Woodrow Wayne Underwood…
