WE Summit 2026 is Powering Possibilities: the moment small and woman-owned businesses, corporate buyers, and procurement leaders get in a room together and make real things happen. A welcome reception to kick things off. Matchmaking rounds. Powerful sessions. A pitch competition where founders take the stage and own their moment. Connections that outlast the conference itself.

Whether you're growing your business, building your supplier bench, or looking for your next great partner, the possibilities start here.

September 28 to 30, 2026. New Orleans, Louisiana.

Registration is open (link in bio). We can't wait to see what possibilities come to life this year. wesummit2026.wbecsouth.org

Here's what's on the calendar this week at WBEC South.

Monday, our office is closed for Labor Day. Tuesday, Power Hour is back with Protect the Bag: Practical Contract Review + Core Cyber Hygiene for Business Continuity, presented by Adelman Firm. Contracts and cyber risk are two of the most common ways a business gets caught off guard, usually only after money, time, or reputation is already on the line. This session is built to help you close those gaps with habits you can actually keep up with.

Come for the sessions. Stay for the shopping. 🛍️

Meet Her in the Marketplace™ is back at the WE Summit, and it's one of our favorite parts of the whole event. Women-owned businesses from across the region set up shop right in the middle of everything, so between sessions and matchmaker meetings, you can browse, shop, and support the businesses that make up this community, all in one place.

It's the kind of shopping you won't find anywhere else: real products, real founders, real conversations while you browse.

The WE Summit is our biggest event of the year, and there's still time to register. September 29-30. wesummit2026.wbecsouth.org

Growth is the goal. 💪 Losing what made your business work in the first place isn't supposed to be the price of admission.

This Power Hour, WBE Star Glenda Thomas, Founder and CEO of Electra Grid Solutions, joins us to talk about exactly that: how to scale your people, your processes, and your performance without watching your culture slip through the cracks. She's built one of the fastest-growing utility infrastructure companies in the Southeast, and she's bringing the real, practical lessons from doing it.
✅ If you're growing fast and starting to feel it, this one's for you.

Thursday brings two events: Supplier Showcase, our closed-session pitch experience connecting suppliers with corporate members and procurement decision-makers, and Maximizing Your WBENC Certification, where this month's guest, Teresa Lawrence, CEO of Delta Administrative Services, joins us to talk partnerships and how to put your certification to work.
