At the NYC SBS Small Business Month Expo, TruFund's Angela Zenon, VP of National Lending, and Ryon Campbell, Assistant Vice President Loan Officer for New York & New Jersey, met with Christian Damiba, Senior Director of Harlem Commonwealth Council’s (HCC) NYC Business Solutions Centers, and Maria Cabrera, Deputy Director of HCC NYC Business Solutions | Washington Heights Center, to discuss opportunities for collaboration.

Together, TruFund and HCC NYC Business Solutions are exploring ways to strengthen referral pathways that connect entrepreneurs with access to capital, business advising, training, and other critical resources that support long-term success. Please join us in welcoming Angela Zenon to the TruFund Financial Services team as Vice President of National Lending.

Angela is a senior lending and impact finance leader with more than two decades of experience spanning banking, CDFI lending, impact investing, and economic development finance. In her role at TruFund, she will support the delivery of flexible, responsible capital solutions that help small businesses and nonprofits grow and thrive across TruFund’s multi-state footprint.

Throughout her distinguished career, Angela has raised and deployed more than $100 million across lending and NMTC platforms and has led lending, capital strategy, and growth initiatives across nonprofit and financial institutions, including Grow America (formerly NDC), Carver Federal Savings Bank, Merrill Lynch Community Development Company, and several leading CDFIs.

Angela is deeply passionate about leveraging finance to expand opportunity, strengthen communities, and support long-term economic growth.

TruFund Financial Services is proud to be a recipient of a $2.3 million grant from JPMorganChase through the American Dream Initiative.

This investment will help expand access to capital for underserved entrepreneurs and support the deployment of approximately $30 million in financing to 150 small businesses across Atlanta, New York, and New Jersey over the next two years.

As a mission-driven CDFI, TruFund remains committed to providing the capital, resources, and support small businesses need to grow, create jobs, and strengthen communities.
