Staying connected with our students via phone or Skype allows us to have students all around the world. Keeping in touch between verbal sessions with text messaging and emailing means we are always available for our students. When you really think about how many women have stories from this industry, stories about clients, bosses, educators, mentors and powerful people who crossed lines, it’s heartbreaking.

Especially in an industry built largely on the talent, labor and money of women.

We need to talk about who gets the power.
Who gets protected.
Who gets believed.
And who we’re still giving our money to even after women speak up.

This conversation is uncomfortable.
