I’d be lying if I said I’m not a little heartbroken.

This was the location I had my heart set on for the Belle School.

We’ve been in negotiations for the past several months and I just knew I had it in the bag. I mean I even picked color schemes and furniture.

I prayed. I fasted… but God said no.

I’m trusting that this rejection is God’s redirection.

If you’re facing your own rejection, lean in, feel all the feelings, and trust that this is part of the process.

Truth is - I was a technical star and a financial disaster — great hair results, empty savings account. My passion & gifted skill got me in the chair, but I had no idea how to stay profitable in it.

I avoided it on purpose. I knew the weight of it …and I didn’t want to carry it. AT ALL.

But the more I ignored the call, the louder it got.

Then early one morning, mid-devotion, not even thinking about BELLE, I heard it clearly:
“If you don’t do this, I will choose another.”

GULP. SIGH. A reluctant “ok” in my heart, and the journey began. — Hab. 2:2–3
