2026✨The Year of the Fire Horse🔥Honoring the Lunar New Year🧧
In Chinese tradition, the Fire Horse appears once every 60 years, the most dynamic energy in the zodiac — bold, visionary, and completely untameable. She moves forward without hesitation. She doesn’t circle. She builds the room herself and brings everyone worth knowing with her.
For women, the Fire Horse energy calls us to stop waiting for permission, stop softening our vision, and stop apologizing for the rooms we’ve been building all along.
And we have been hard at work building them for a long time…
In 2001 I founded Poets and Dreamers — a culture model built on the belief that art and conversation elevate us as humans and act as powerful bridges between cultures and continents.
In 2008, with Poets and Dreamers, I began bringing groups of women together — honoring and celebrating our differences, our stories, our cultures — the same way I had grown up watching the most powerful communities thrive around shared purpose and celebrate uniqueness.
I brought this same belief to , and I continue to build on it with SoCal Women in Business. Because the most powerful rooms are those where every culture, every voice, every background is not just welcomed — it is honored. Celebrated. Centered. That is how transformation happens. That is the reason it lasts.
