We recently installed an alarm system and cameras for this client after she experienced an attempted break-in at her home. It was an extremely dangerous moment, and she was deeply frightened while inside the house. Since she had no security system or cameras, she couldn’t see or identify the intruder. Thankfully, she shouted, and the intruder ran off without harming her.

My son, Alex,
I want to dedicate these words to you from the bottom of my heart. You are, without a doubt, the best thing that has ever happened to me. From when you were very little, your mom and I understood that your path would be different—filled with big challenges. We have worked hard to support you, seeking therapies and tools, but I know that the one who has always fought the hardest is you. Every step you take, no matter how small it may seem, is a huge victory.
I know your day-to-day life isn’t easy. You go to school like other kids, but when you get home, you can’t always rest the way you’d like. You have to keep working, doing your therapies, studying, pushing yourself over and over again. Many times you have to sacrifice that rest you truly deserve, and I know that’s tough. But I also know that all that effort has a purpose: preparing you for a better future, so that every day you become stronger, more independent, and more capable.
This weekend, I lived a moment I will never forget. Seeing you help me install the ladder rack on the truck—working together as father and son—meant so much to me. For many, it might seem like a simple thing, but for me, it was huge. That rack we installed together helps me work better, grow my business, and keep fighting for our future. And knowing you were there with me, contributing, accomplishing something by my side, filled me with pride in a way I can’t explain.
You are my inspiration. Thanks to you, I’ve found strength to work harder, to grow as a person, and to build my company. Everything I do, I do thinking of you—of giving you a better future, so that one day you can be independent, strong, intelligent, brave, humble, and a person everyone admires and loves.
I want you to keep pushing forward—keep going—not for me, but for yourself. My greatest wish in life is to see you well, to see you happy, and to know you’ll be ready for the future. Even if sometimes I can’t spend as much time with you as I’d like because of work, every single thing I do is out of love for you. Thank you for helping me, for sharing that moment with me, for being who you are. I love you with all my heart, my son.

Hijo mío, Alex, quiero dedicarte estas palabras desde lo más profundo de mi corazón. Eres, sin duda, lo mejor que me ha pasado en esta vida. Desde que eras muy pequeño, tu mamá y yo entendimos que tu camino iba a ser diferente, lleno de retos grandes. Hemos trabajado duro para apoyarte, buscando terapias y herramientas, pero sé que quien más ha luchado siempre has sido tú. Cada paso que das, por pequeño que parezca, es una gran victoria. Sé que tu día a día no es fácil. Vas a la escuela como los demás niños, pero cuando llegas a casa no siempre puedes descansar como quisieras. Tienes que seguir trabajando, hacer tus terapias, estudiar, esforzarte una y otra vez. Muchas veces te toca sacrificar ese descanso que tanto mereces, y yo sé que eso es fuerte. Pero también sé que todo ese esfuerzo tiene un propósito: prepararte para un mejor futuro, para que cada día seas más fuerte, más independiente y más capaz.
Este fin de semana viví un momento que nunca voy a olvidar. Verte ayudándome a instalar el portaescaleras en la camioneta, trabajando juntos como padre e hijo, significó muchísimo para mí. Para muchos puede parecer algo sencillo, pero para mí fue enorme. Ese rack que montamos juntos me ayuda a trabajar mejor, a crecer mi negocio y a seguir luchando por nuestro futuro. Y saber que tú estuviste ahí conmigo, aportando, logrando algo a mi lado, me llenó de orgullo de una manera que no puedo explicar.
Tú eres mi inspiración. Gracias a ti he encontrado fuerzas para trabajar más duro, para crecer como persona y para construir mi compañía. Todo lo que hago, lo hago pensando en ti, en darte un mejor futuro, en que el día de mañana puedas ser independiente, fuerte, inteligente, valiente, humilde y una persona que todos admiren y quieran. Quiero que sigas esforzándote, que sigas adelante, no por mí, sino por ti mismo. Mi mayor deseo en la vida es verte bien, verte feliz y saber que estarás preparado para el futuro.
