In Transition…

Some of you have been irritated lately, and it’s not because you’re doing something wrong.

It’s because you’re not who you used to be… and you’re still not who you’re becoming.

It’s even harder when people ask, “Who are you?” and all you can honestly say is, “I’m becoming.”

Don’t rush to define yourself just to make others comfortable. Give God the time to finish what He’s started.

This one came straight from my heart.

I shared how God used the pain behind my tears. Years ago, I poured my heart into my prayer journal, asking Him to remove me from places that were draining me. When I recently read those prayers again, the pages were still marked by the indentations of my tears. I could feel the weight I was carrying.

As a business owner, I learned that people often celebrate your gift while overlooking your humanity. They pull from your purpose, your time, your energy, and your heart. No one talks enough about the weight of building something while trying to hold yourself together.

But when I looked back, I realized something beautiful…

God answered every one of those prayers. Not always the way I expected, but exactly the way I needed.

Those tears weren’t wasted. They were watering the life He was preparing for me.

If you’re in a season where you’re crying more than you’re celebrating, don’t stop praying. One day you’ll look back and realize God was working the whole time. 🤍
