Please take a few seconds to read this post. First of all, I am overwhelmed and blessed with a continued support that this business has received over the past 30 years. We hit a milestone today with 3000 followers on the FB page. It just happens to be a day when I received a text from a long term, client that warms the heart and fuels the fire to keep doing the best work that we possibly can. Now I did the deer in this post 24 1/2 years ago. Is it detailed as much as we do now? Of course, not…..We have done thousands since this one, but it is still holding strong. Yesterday we went with a wide boy, today we’re going with a tall boy. I’m not talking draft b**r. Haha….. just another awesome WNY buck. He has extremely long, G2’s and G3’s. I’m loving the double white patch cape he is sporting. I’m not sure if you could call a triple white patch, because he has another white patch at the top of his brisket. So I just finished up the late shift and I thought I’d share this pretty cool project. Our client harvested this deer in WNY and asked if we could do something similar to the picture he provided. So, we started with the mannequin that I have in the photographs and altered it to get a good representation of the picture that he asked for. now his forever home is alongside our clients fireplace and it fits there perfect. For today I have retitled BBF with battle ax big buck Friday. This awesome wild looking WNY Whitetail grosses 150 inches. To the best of my ability I’ve aged this year at 6 1/2. He has a 25 1/2 inch spread and the longest time over 12 inches. He is sporting a cape that truly has been through the test of time. Have a great day! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
