A sincere thank you to Director Berry. She made a difference.

For years, Oklahoma's medical cannabis industry operated with rules on paper and little behind them. Director Berry changed that. She built real enforcement where no one else had been able to, and in doing so she began to give legitimate, compliant operators something previously missing: a level playing field. I’m incredibly grateful for her hard work and dedication.

Jason Yingling will serve as interim director of OMMA, while Berry will remain Oklahoma's secretary of licensing and regulation.

❗METRC UPDATE: OMMA has implemented a new flag in Metrc to streamline how recalled products are identified in the supply chain. Affected production batches and downstream packages will now be highlighted with a warning symbol and a blue administrative recall alert message.

This feature is effective immediately and applies to today’s issued recall. OMMA will use this flagging process for all future product recalls.

For every type of license: You absolutely must go to Obndd’s verification link and verify that the licensee you are receiving from or sending to has an active OBN registration and click view and confirm the address shown matches the address on the manifest. The expiration date does not matter. What matters is the status shows active and the address shown under the registration, matches the address on the manifest.

Thank you to the Oklahoma Medical Ma*****na Authority for putting on the Community Conversations tour. It was a great experience. I appreciated having so many OMMA team members there to talk with directly.

The willingness to engage directly with the industry through events like this, reflects real growth for not just in OMMA's process and culture, but in the industry itself, which has matured enough to be a real partner in that conversation. Grateful to see it, and glad to be part of an industry that gets to grow alongside them. Exhausted every day of course, but glad! 😉
