What a gorgeous Saturday morning at the New Canaan Farmers Market! ☀️ Blue skies, sunshine, and just enough of that September feeling in the air to remind us that fall is right around the corner. 🍂🍎

Equivalent Exchange LLC is here today from 10 AM–2 PM, pouring samples and helping you discover your next favorite bottle of our handcrafted, all-natural meads and wines. Whether you already have a favorite or you’re ready to let your taste buds conduct a little alchemical experiment, come see us. 🧪🍷

And we’re only one stop in a market packed with reasons to wander! Check out Woodland Farm for fresh local goodness, stop by Oceans 180, browse the artisans and specialty vendors, and apparently you can even catch a little Elvis & Neil Diamond energy while you shop. 🎶🕺 There’s food, local products, handmade goods, fresh produce, and plenty to explore.

Days like this are what farmers market season is all about: beautiful weather, local businesses, good people, and the first whispers of autumn creeping into Connecticut. 🍁

Tomorrow, Equivalent Exchange LLC is returning to the New Canaan Farmers Market from 10 AM–2 PM, and we’re bringing the mead. 🧙🏾‍♂️🍯
Come stroll the market, support some incredible local vendors, and stop by our table for a sample or three. You might just leave with a new favorite. 😉

A Long Day in the Meadery, and We Wouldn’t Have It Any Other Way! 🍯🍷

Some days are spent pouring bottles. Other days are spent making sure there’s something worth pouring into them. Today is definitely the latter. 😅

We’ve been putting in a serious production day at Equivalent Exchange LLC, processing and pasteurizing Hopped Maple Orchard, while preparing Traditional Mead and Drengr’s Blood Mead for pasteurization.

Fermentation, transfers, temperature checks, cleaning, and a whole lot of patience. It’s not always the glamorous side of the business, but it’s the part that keeps the magic moving from the fermenter to your table. 🧪✨

And honestly? This is what we live for.

Every bottle represents hours of work, careful attention, and a little bit of stubbornness. We’re building something we’re proud to share, one batch at a time.

So if you’ve been wondering what keeps those bottles on the table, here’s your answer: long production days, good ingredients, and a whole lot of love for the craft. ❤️

We’ll keep doing the work so you can keep enjoying the results.

🍷🌿 $300 RAISED FOR RED CLOVER FARMS! 🌿🍷

Last Tuesday, August 25th, we set out with a simple goal: turn every bottle sold into a little extra support for our friends at Red Clover Farms. For every bottle purchased, Equivalent Exchange LLC donated $5, and because of YOU, those bottles added up to an incredible $300 donation! ❤️🐝🍯

That money will go directly toward helping Red Clover Farms with their operational and legal costs. We cannot thank everyone enough who stopped by, grabbed a bottle, shared the fundraiser, or simply helped spread the word.

This is exactly why supporting local matters. Small businesses supporting small farms. Customers supporting both. And a community proving that a bunch of $5 contributions can become something much bigger. ⚗️🤝🌱

One quick market update: We will NOT be at the Seymour Farmers Market tomorrow, Tuesday, September 1st. We'll miss seeing everyone this week, but we'll keep you posted on where you can catch us next!

🍷 Another Oxford Farmers Market in the Books! ⚗️

That’s a wrap on another beautiful Sunday at the Oxford Farmers Market! ☀️ The weather gave us a gorgeous market day, the samples were flowing, and once again we got to spend the afternoon chatting with familiar faces, meeting new ones, and sharing what Equivalent Exchange LLC is all about.

And apparently, some of you have been doing a little too much shopping... 😂

🚨 Another wine has officially SOLD OUT: Fey Wine! 🚨

But don’t panic! Fey Wine is already in production and currently bulk aging as we speak. 🍷✨

Fermentation and aging operate on their own stubborn little clock, and we refuse to rush the process just to get bottles back on the table faster. When it returns, it’ll return when it’s ready.

With Banana Nut Bliss, Hopped Maple Orchard, Zesty Berry Fusion, and now Fey Wine sold out, our market table is definitely starting to look a little lighter. That’s bittersweet for us, but it’s also an incredible reminder of how much support you’ve shown our small-batch creations.

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by today, whether you sampled something new, grabbed a bottle, came back for an old favorite, or simply stopped to talk. And, as always, shoutout to all the other farmers, makers, growers, bakers, and vendors who make the Oxford Farmers Market such a great Sunday destination. ❤️

We’re all set up at the New Canaan Farmers Market TODAY from 10 AM–2 PM, and Mother Nature finally turned the temperature k**b in the right direction. 😂🍂

This cooler weather is PERFECT for strolling the market, checking out all the incredible local farmers, bakers, makers, artisans, and small businesses that make Saturdays here worth the trip.

The sun is out, the bottles are chilled, and Equivalent Exchange LLC is here TODAY from 12 PM–6 PM! It’s a beautiful afternoon to wander the market, support local vendors, and perhaps stop by for a sample… or three. 😏🍷

We’re holding a fundraiser in support of our friends at Red Clover Farms . For every bottle sold today, August 25th, we’re donating $5 to help with their operational and legal expenses.

Our friends at Red Clover Farm are facing operational and legal costs, and we believe supporting local means showing up when it matters, not just saying the words.

⚗️ So we’re putting our bottles where our mouth is.

For EVERY bottle sold on August 25th, we’ll donate $5 directly to Red Clover Farm to help with their operational and legal costs.
