From vine to bottle...A little love for Clairette Blanche 🤍

Originally from southern France, Clairette Blanche is a Rhône white grape known for its bright acidity and refreshing character.

Over the years, we've sourced Clairette from Adelaida District, Happy Canyon, and Alisos Canyon, crafting it as a sparkling wine, a still wine, and incorporating it into select blends.

Now, we're especially excited to have Clairette planted right here on our Templeton Gap estate vineyard. Planted in 2023, these vines represent the next chapter for a grape we've enjoyed working with for years. 🍇🌱

Bright, refreshing, and made for warm summer days, our Clairette is currently available on the tasting list and featured on our white wine-only flight. 🥂

And speaking of white wines... we're thrilled to be participating in the White Wine Invitational again on August 1! We can't wait to share this wine and so many other incredible whites with you. ➡️ Click the link in our bio to get tickets!

A lot of revisiting, tasting, and adjusting goes into this part of the process. Small changes can completely shift the final blend, and it’s always interesting seeing how the wines come together before bottling.

A truly unforgettable evening at the annual Farm-to-Table Spring Dinner at Stemple Creek Ranch. ✨🍷

Thank you to Loren and Lisa Poncia (pictured in the middle!) for inviting Barton Family Wines to pour our wines alongside such an incredible dining experience by Seared, Petaluma. We were honored to be part of such a special event celebrating regenerative farming, sustainable practices, friendship, and the connection that great food and wine create around the table.

One of the most meaningful parts of the evening was reminiscing about our shared time at Cal Poly, SLO and reflecting on a friendship that has spanned more than 30 years — making it even more special to come back together for this incredible night.

The entire evening was beautifully done from start to finish, and we are so grateful to have been included. We look forward to partnering together again in the future.
