We’re back at it today trimming up the sun grown purple diesel. I’ve been a big fan of this strain this year as it has those old school terps that bring back memories. It’s sativa leaning with a nice feel good happy high to her that doesn’t give you that heaviness feeling, more of a head high paired with a grapey/gassy flavor. Outdoors she produced some nice chunky buds but on the flip side they were prone to some bud rot near the end. Wasn’t anything crazy but maybe a half oz- oz that needed to be cut out. Part of the game, happy with the results all and all 🪴

POWDERY MILDEW- SYSTEMIC OR NOT? We sat down with the legend himself Ed Rosenthal to see what his take was on the situation but we also want to hear for YOU growers on what you think?

Good morning growmies, we’re back at it today getting another strain trimmed up. This is the galactic warheads and oh man is she a sticky plant. Yield was decent, didn’t produce the biggest buds but the quality is there, super stinky and has a wild high to her that gives you a giggly almost trippy high. I know a lot of people aren’t big fans of outdoor but I gotta say some of the best highs I’ve had over the years has been from sun grown. Gotta love this of the year

Everything’s chopped down but staggered it somewhat so some strains are ready now for trimming. Getting started with the super boof and pretty solid results for sun gown. Super stinky/sticky with a nice bag appeal for outdoor. Got some bud rot near the end which is to be expected but wasn’t crazy, maybe half an oz. Rains coming in today gonna put on a good pod cast and get to trimming. 🍊☀️

Sweet skunk came down yesterday and I gotta say she performed pretty well outdoors. Barely any bud rot or powdery mildew and produced some nice big sticky colas. Only down side was she took a longer to finish fully but all and all she as a great strain to grow under the sun. 🦨 ☀️

MASSACHUSETTS — VOTE NO ON QUESTION 8 🌿

Massachusetts voters chose legal, regulated adult-use cannabis in 2016. This November, that progress is on the ballot again.

Question 8 would repeal the laws that allow, regulate and tax adult-use cannabis retail sales. A NO vote keeps our current ma*****na law in place.

At Average Joe Grow, we stand behind legal access, responsible cultivation, consumer education and a regulated cannabis market. We believe Massachusetts should keep moving forward.

📅 Election Day: Tuesday, November 3, 2026
