Fun Friday question:

If your business walked into a room as a person, who would show up? 😅

The organized one who has everything handled?

The brilliant one with 47 tabs open?

The one who says “I’ll send that today” and remembers three days later?

Or the one who looks completely calm while everything behind the scenes is held together with automations, coffee, and determination?

Every business develops a personality based on how it operates.

Its systems. Its standards. Its communication. Even the things it tolerates.

And sometimes imagining your business as a person makes it surprisingly obvious what needs work.

So... who would your business be?

Every hour in your week falls into one of four buckets: Owner Work, Delegatable, Repeatable, or Waste.

The fastest place to start? Repeatable work.

If it happens the same way over and over, it may be a system waiting to be built.

Check last week. How many hours did repeatable work take from you?

Here's a business question for the first day of September:

What have you gotten really good at tolerating?

The process that takes twice as long as it should.

The client boundary that keeps getting crossed.

The task nobody technically owns.

The software everyone complains about but somehow still uses.

The manual workaround that's been “temporary” since February.

None of these things may feel serious enough to demand your attention today.

That's exactly why they survive.

Small inefficiencies become normal surprisingly quickly.

And once they're normal, we stop asking whether they should exist at all.

So instead of starting September by adding another goal to the list, try something different:

Remove one thing you've been unnecessarily tolerating.

Small fix. Less friction. Better business.

Your business talks to you.

Unfortunately, it rarely sends a polite calendar invite.

Instead, it says things like:

“Why are we STILL doing this manually?”

“Why does everyone ask me the same question?”

“Why does this always take three days?”

“Wait... who was supposed to follow up with them?”

Those little frustrations aren't always just annoying parts of running a business.

They're clues.

Repeated confusion might point to a missing process.

Constant interruptions might point to unclear ownership.

Too much manual work might be begging for automation.

And if everything still needs you? That's telling you something too.

This Monday, don't just work around the friction.

Pay attention to it.

Your next business improvement might already be showing you exactly where to look.

It’s Friday. No spreadsheets for the next 60 seconds.

CEO WOULD YOU RATHER:

A) Never attend another unnecessary meeting
OR
B) Never chase another unpaid invoice

A) Have an inbox that stays at zero
OR
B) Have a calendar with actual breathing room

A) Double your revenue
OR
B) Cut your working hours in half while keeping the same revenue

And the dangerous one...

A) Give up coffee for a year
OR
B) Attend a 3-hour meeting that absolutely could have been an email. Every. Single. Friday.

Choose wisely. 😂

Drop your answers below. No judgment... except maybe on that last one.

Fixed it Monday.

Fixed it again Wednesday.

And somehow... here we are.

When the same problem keeps showing up in your business, it might not actually be a problem anymore.

It might be a pattern.

Maybe information keeps getting missed.

Maybe nobody knows who owns the task.

Maybe there's a manual process begging to be automated.

Maybe the workaround became the process.

Quick fixes are useful.

But eventually, you have to stop asking:

“How do we fix this?”

And start asking:

“Why do we keep needing to?”

Solve it once.

Then build something that helps prevent round seven.

Business owners are constantly told to add.

Add another offer.

Add another platform.

Add another strategy.

Add another meeting.

But here's a question worth asking:

What could you remove?

The offer nobody really wants.

The meeting that could've been an email.

The process with seven steps that probably needs three.

The thing you've kept doing because... well, you've always done it.

Growth isn't always about piling more onto the business.

Sometimes the smartest thing you can do is edit.

Keep what works.

Improve what matters.

Let the rest go.

What's one thing your business could do without?

Somewhere along the way, being busy became a business achievement. 😅

Back-to-back meetings.

47 tabs open.

Emails during dinner.

A to-do list that somehow gets longer after you finish things.

But being busy doesn't necessarily mean your business is growing.

Sometimes it just means your business is very good at keeping you... busy.

The better question isn't:

“How much did I do today?”

It's:

“Did what I did actually move the business forward?”

Because a full calendar can look impressive.

A business that works intentionally is better.

Here’s a slightly uncomfortable Monday question:

What stops working in your business when you stop working? 👀

If every approval needs you...

Every problem finds you...

Every decision waits for you...

You haven't built freedom yet.

You've built yourself a very demanding job.

Growth means creating systems, developing people, and making sure the business can keep moving without your fingerprints on absolutely everything.

The goal isn't to become unimportant.

It's to become less necessary for the everyday stuff.

That gives you room to focus on where you actually add the most value.
