🎉 Another Grant Writing Win for Jacinths LLC! 🎉

We are excited to announce that Jacinths Homeless Foundation has been awarded a $1,000 grant to support its Emergency Food & Basic Needs Program!

This grant was successfully written and submitted by Jacinths LLC, making it another funding success for our consulting company.

What makes this even more special is that both organizations were founded by Tyenesha Fields. One organization helps nonprofits secure funding, while the other puts those resources to work serving our community.

We are grateful for another opportunity to demonstrate the impact of our work, both through nonprofit consulting and direct community service.

🚨 NONPROFIT OWNERS: BMO advised calling to check for an unauthorized account, even if you have NOT received an email or letter.

This morning, I received an email congratulating me on opening a BMO checking account. I did NOT open an account.

After being on hold for 45 minutes, a representative told me that many nonprofits had accounts opened without their authorization. They described it as a system glitch and advised allowing up to 72 hours, but could not give me a definite resolution time.

The representative also said nonprofits’ IRS determination letters and EINs are publicly accessible and claimed that information was enough to open a business checking account. This is what I was told during my call.

They couldn’t even tell me whether money had been deposited into the account!

According to the representative, nonprofit organizations should call BMO even without receiving a notification. Use the number listed on BMO’s official website and ask whether an account exists under your organization’s name.

FYI

Beginning in early 2027, the City of Phoenix will improve vendor payment terms by 15 days. The City will begin paying vendors at 30 days (Net 30) instead of 45 days (Net 45). This update reflects our commitment to making it easier and more rewarding to do business with the City.

All vendors will automatically begin receiving payments within 30 days—no action is required.
