Arizona's Roads Are Running on Empty. How Will We Pay for the Infrastructure of Tomorrow?

Arizona hasn't increased its gas tax in more than 35 years. Since then, inflation and more fuel-efficient vehicles have combined to erode roughly two-thirds of its purchasing power per mile driven. Meanwhile, Arizona keeps growing, and our roads, highways, and bridges still need to be built and maintained.

Proposition 141 would permanently eliminate one potential transportation funding option from Arizona's Constitution before we've even explored whether it could work.

We need more options to fund Arizona's future, not fewer.
