🔥 HOW COOL IS THIS?! 🔥

Station 43 — Point Pleasant Beach Fire Company No. 2 — has a dedicated donation station right on the Point Pleasant Beach Boardwalk! 🚒

A simple and creative way for residents and visitors to support the volunteer firefighters who serve the community 24/7, 365 days a year.

Next time you’re walking the boardwalk and spot it, consider dropping in a donation!

🚒 INTRODUCING: DONATION STATION 43 🚒

We’re proud to officially introduce Donation Station 43, a new seasonal fixture at Jenkinson’s Boardwalk supporting the volunteer firefighters of Point Pleasant Beach Fire Company No. 2 — Station 43.

Located next to the Lemonade Stand, just outside the Ride Park, Donation Station 43 was built by our own members and features a custom donation box alongside a restored decorative fire hydrant.

This project would not have been possible without the incredible support of Jenkinson’s Boardwalk, who generously donated project materials, provided the location, and will help ensure the donation station remains safe and secure throughout the season. We’re extremely grateful for their continued support of our fire company and the volunteers who serve Point Pleasant Beach.

If you’re enjoying a day or night on the boardwalk, keep an eye out for Donation Station 43 and consider dropping in a donation. Every contribution, big or small, goes directly toward supporting our volunteer fire company, including equipment, training, and our continued service to the community.

💙 THIS is what service looks like. First Responders, make a difference!!

When a medical emergency suddenly became a cardiac arrest, Ptl. Thomas Elwood didn’t hesitate. As the lone first responder on scene, he immediately began CPR, deployed his AED, and delivered a lifesaving shock.

The result: the patient regained consciousness and was breathing on his own before EMS arrived.

Incredible work, Ptl. Elwood. Your quick actions, training, and composure made all the difference.

On August 6, 2026 Ptl. Thomas Elwood responded to a first aid call for a male with chest pains. Upon his arrival he made contact with the male and obtained basic information while awaiting the arrival of EMS.

While speaking with the male Ptl. Elwood observed the male was in obvious discomfort and tried to place him in a comfortable position. The male then suddenly went unconscious and stopped breathing.

Ptl. Elwood quickly recognized the need for immediate intervention. He placed the male on the ground, prepared his AED and began high quality CPR. While continuing to administer CPR he directed family members on scene to assist. He was the lone first responder on scene.

The male was given one shock from the AED machine and Ptl. Elwood continued CPR until the male regained consciousness and began to breathe on his own.

Ptl. Elwood then maintained close observation of the male while communicating with him and comforting him until the arrival of EMS and medics.

The male left the scene in an ambulance conscious and able to talk.

PBA Local 137 commends Ptl. Elwood for his actions in saving a life, job well done.

One of the coolest and most rewarding parts of owning On Point Uniform & Supply has been helping prepare the next generation of police officers for the academy! 💙👮

These soon-to-be officers may have come to us for uniforms and gear, but along the way, they’ve taught me a few things too! 😊

It’s been such a privilege watching our very first recruits take those first steps toward what we hope will be long, safe, and rewarding careers.
