FREE: Compressed Cardboard Bales – Multiple uses!

Have several tightly packed bales of clean cardboard available for pickup. Great for a variety of practical uses:

• Gardening & Landscaping – Perfect for killing grass/weeds and creating new garden beds (sheet mulching)
• Animal Bedding – Can be shredded for chickens, goats, or livestock
• Fire Starter / Kindling – Useful for outdoor boilers, fire pits, and wood stoves
• Moving / Storage – Break apart for packing material or padding
• Workshop / Construction Use – Floor protection, insulation, or temporary barriers
• DIY & Projects – Great for crafts, prototyping, or kids’ play structures

Bales are compact and heavy (bring a truck or trailer) we can load at pickup. Easy to cut apart and use as needed.

Thank you for making Summit’s first IT DEVICE DESTRUCTION DAY a great success!
As part of the launch of our new IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) service, we had a great turnout on April 16, with a steady flow of community members dropping off devices, from cell phones & tablets to computers, towers and All-in-one PCs—for secure data and physical device destruction.
A special thank you to Penny Francis, who chose our “Watch-It-Go” service and witnessed her computer being destroyed through our 3-step process—giving her complete confidence that her data was fully eliminated. Penny went from data RISK to data GONE.
While many opted for quick drop-off, those who wanted to learn more were guided through our 3-step process to ensure devices cannot be reused or resold: degaussing (permanent data erasure), physical device destruction, and our secure transfer to West Parishville Metals, a trusted local partner in NYS Certified e-waste recycling for end-of-life material disposal.

TOYS FOR TOTS – Community kindness at its best! 43 toys collected by the Summit SHRED LAB team in just 2 weeks!
Sincere thanks to everyone who dropped off toys and donations—and to our Secret Santa who let us shop on his behalf. A heartfelt THANK YOU for your generosity.
A big thank you as well to Reynolds, SLC Toys for Tots Coordinator & United States Marine Corps Veteran, and his team of volunteers. They now take on the huge task of collecting and distributing toys to children in our communities to make sure they smile this Christmas.

Wow! It’s heart warming to see so many Secret Santas dropping off unwrapped gifts for the TOYS FOR TOTS program this week. Big thanks to Cayden and his mom Shutts, for donating 2 full bags of toys as part of Cayden’s social studies community project at Norwood school. Bravo!
Summit SHRED LAB is accepting donations until Friday Dec 12th at Noon. After that, all toys will be delivered to Toys for Tots volunteers to be distributed to local kids in our community. 🎁✨

Give Joy this Christmas to Local Kids - from now until December 12, the Summit SHRED LAB & Storage team is proud to support the Marine Corps Reserve TOYS FOR TOTS program by collecting new, unwrapped toys. All donated toys will be distributed to less fortunate children in our surrounding communities this Christmas.
