Today, June 4, 2026, we celebrate Summit SHRED LAB’s Team Captain, Louie, who turns 16 years today! 🐾🎉
For more than a decade, Louie proudly served as a service dog, bringing comfort and companionship to my GF who passed.
Since adopting her, she’s traded her service vest for a role as an integral part of the Summit Team. On days she’s not at doggy daycare, Louie enjoys coming to the office, greeting customers, and keeping a watchful eye over the team while they’re hard at work

Happy 16th Birthday to our girl Louie! Thank you for bringing joy, loyalty, and a little extra tail-wagging happiness to the entire Summit Team. ❤️

Yesterday, (May 28, 2026) Summit SHRED LAB was honored to receive a 5-Year Milestone Award at the Potsdam Chamber of Commerce Spring Luncheon. We are grateful to be part of such a supportive business community and appreciate the networking connections and opportunities the Potsdam Chamber has provided over the years.
A sincere thank you to the Potsdam Chamber of Commerce for the recognition, and to the Potsdam Town & Country Club for being wonderful hosts with a beautiful setting overlooking the golf course. It was great to see such an incredible turnout and connect with so many familiar and new faces.

Have several tightly packed bales of clean cardboard available for pickup. Great for a variety of practical uses:

Thank you for making Summit’s first IT DEVICE DESTRUCTION DAY a great success!
As part of the launch of our new IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) service, we had a great turnout on April 16, with a steady flow of community members dropping off devices, from cell phones & tablets to computers, towers and All-in-one PCs—for secure data and physical device destruction.
A special thank you to Penny Francis, who chose our “Watch-It-Go” service and witnessed her computer being destroyed through our 3-step process—giving her complete confidence that her data was fully eliminated. Penny went from data RISK to data GONE.
While many opted for quick drop-off, those who wanted to learn more were guided through our 3-step process to ensure devices cannot be reused or resold: degaussing (permanent data erasure), physical device destruction, and our secure transfer to West Parishville Metals, a trusted local partner in NYS Certified e-waste recycling for end-of-life material disposal.

TOYS FOR TOTS – Community kindness at its best! 43 toys collected by the Summit SHRED LAB team in just 2 weeks!
Sincere thanks to everyone who dropped off toys and donations—and to our Secret Santa who let us shop on his behalf. A heartfelt THANK YOU for your generosity.
A big thank you as well to Reynolds, SLC Toys for Tots Coordinator & United States Marine Corps Veteran, and his team of volunteers. They now take on the huge task of collecting and distributing toys to children in our communities to make sure they smile this Christmas.

Wow! It’s heart warming to see so many Secret Santas dropping off unwrapped gifts for the TOYS FOR TOTS program this week. Big thanks to Cayden and his mom Shutts, for donating 2 full bags of toys as part of Cayden’s social studies community project at Norwood school. Bravo!
Summit SHRED LAB is accepting donations until Friday Dec 12th at Noon. After that, all toys will be delivered to Toys for Tots volunteers to be distributed to local kids in our community. 🎁✨
