Congratulations!

Kudos to Grantee Indiana University! As part of the Healthcare Across the Lifespan course, IU created heath education materials for local health fairs and events with community partners. Topics included car seat and seatbelt safety, vision screening and screen time, exercise, healthy foods, safe sleep and good sleep hygiene, screening recommendations (cancer screenings, vaccines, etc.), to***co use and va**ng, and first aid. Participants received educational handouts in their preferred language and a take-home bag filled with supplies to support their efforts.

Bonus: Eryn Morrow, MSPAS, PA-C and Elisa Sterner, MPAS, PA-C, presented their experience integrating service-learning at the 2026 Association for Prevention Teaching and Research conference. Great job!

The Indiana Academy of PAs is proud to announce its full endorsement of Leslie Clayton, DMSc, PA-C, DFAAPA, for AAPA President-elect.

Leslie is an engaged member of IAPA. She has shared her expertise as a presenter at our conferences, making a meaningful impact on our members and the profession in Indiana.

In addition to her state involvement, Leslie has demonstrated a strong commitment to the PA profession through dedicated leadership, advocacy, and service at the national level.

AAPA Members: We Need Your Help

If you’re an AAPA member living or working in Indiana, we encourage you to designate Indiana as your official chapter affiliation. Doing so directly impacts the number of delegates IAPA can send to the AAPA House of Delegates—strengthening our ability to advocate for the issues that matter most to PAs in our state. Every additional delegate means a stronger, more representative voice for Indiana at the national level, ensuring our perspectives, challenges, and priorities are heard and reflected in policy decisions. By simply selecting Indiana as your chapter, you’re helping elevate our collective influence and shape the future of the PA profession both at home and across the country.

To designate Indiana, go to the "Professional Information" section of your AAPA member profile. https://ow.ly/JGZt50YwQh1
