One of the most valuable things we can do during a mid-year review is reconnect with the why behind our goals.

Sometimes the goal itself still matters but the approach needs to change.

Other times, we discover we have been saying yes to too many things that pull us away from what matters most.

The middle of the year offers an opportunity to pause, reflect and move forward with greater clarity and intention.

By the middle of the year, many women in business find themselves asking an important question.

Am I still moving toward the goals I set at the beginning of the year, or have I simply been reacting to everything around me?

January often begins with excitement, energy and ambitious plans. But by mid-year, unexpected challenges arise, priorities shift and opportunities compete for attention.

This is often where momentum begins to fade.

Staying committed to your goals does not require constant motivation. It requires intentionality.

What goal still matters deeply to you and are your daily actions supporting it?

Emotionally, letting go may mean releasing guilt, perfectionism or the pressure to meet everyone else’s expectations.

This kind of release doesn’t happen overnight.
It takes small, intentional steps to create powerful momentum.

You do not need to add more to become who you are meant to be next.
You may simply need to let go of what has been holding you in place.

Letting go is not an ending.
It is making room for new opportunities to grow and add joy to your day.

If you released just one thing this month, what space or opportunity might it create?

Episode #11 of the P.E.A.R. Project Podcast has been released.

In this episode, I am chatting with Anja Lavigne, who was born to humble beginnings. Anja didn’t grow up in a Martha Stewart home—she grew up in a space heavy with chaos and stuck energy. Living through the weight of that environment, she learned firsthand how deeply our surroundings shape our lives.

Anja Lavigne is a transformational House Coach and Energy-Focused Interior Stylist who has spent over 20 years helping people align their homes and workspaces with their highest potential. Blending interior design with energetic principles, she guides clients and audiences to clear clutter, raise the vibration of their spaces, and create environments that fuel style, clarity, focus, and abundance.

Anja has an unique ability to deliver both inspiration and practical tools, leaving people empowered to transform not just their spaces, but their lives. Her work has been featured in The Globe and Mail and Toronto Star, and she is trusted by clients who value intentional living, high standards, and measurable improvement in daily life and work.

We had a great conversation where we discussed the importance of recognizing life seasons, overcoming mindsets and discovering your unique path.

Come and listen as we share stories, laugh and inspire one another through our different journeys in life.

Letting go starts with awareness.

Pay attention to what feels heavy.
What feels frustrating.
What feels misaligned.

Are you saying yes to commitments that no longer serve your goals?
Are you holding onto a strategy because it feels familiar, even though it’s no longer effective?

Sometimes the next step forward is not adding more.
It is releasing what no longer belongs.

Create white space.
Challenge the “I should.”
Delegate what no longer needs your hands.

Before we can truly move forward, we need to loosen our grip on the habits, beliefs, roles and expectations that no longer serve the journey we are on.

Letting go isn’t about failure or loss.
It’s about making space for what’s next.

For many women in leadership, letting go feels uncomfortable.
We hold onto routines that once worked, projects that drain us or the belief that we must do everything ourselves.

Growth requires a different approach and sometimes, a lighter load.
