Although Tagaris has been growing grapes since 1983 and producing wine since 1987, the 2005 vintage was the first from its new winery located on Tulip Lane in Richland, WA. Taverna is Greek for “tavern” and was a place where Greek men passed the time drinking wine and talking about daily life. Today it has come to describe an informal establishment that offers a place to talk, drink and share a meal with friends. Taverna = 🍷🍸🥩 Ingredients are local, from farmer to rancher to 👩‍🍳 to table. Fresh seafood too. Dine alfresco or indoors. Zagat Awarded. An assortment of appetizers - tapas and meze – are proudly offered. Remember, every day you vote with your fork. Choose wisely!

Our 2025 Organic Cabernet Sauvignon received 95 points + Gold at the 2026 USA W**e Ratings, while our 2024 Sangiovese earned a Gold Medal + 91 points at the 2026 SavorNW W**e Awards! 🤩🏆
