Intake
I begin the process with a complimentary phone consultation to get to know one another. During this introductory time, I will listen to your current situation, home organization needs, frustrations and requests for organizing your home or space. I will be asking questions to provide me with greater details to better assess your situation. This conversation will also give you a chance to get to know me as well, see if you feel comfortable, and we are compatible to work together. If we decide to move forward the next step is an assessment visit. Assessment
Each organization project begins with an assessment visit. This is a walkthrough of the space as well as an overview of the client's entire situation. I will be asking questions for more details to help me design the perfect system for you. Examples of the types of questions I'll be asking throughout the space are: What's working for you? What items are most important to you? What is your vision for this space? There is a flat fee for the assessment. During the walkthrough, I will volunteer tips and advice for your space. Some clients like to do assessments for the tips, and then tackle their space on their own. This is completely acceptable! I will try to keep the assessment at 90 minutes or less. If your space is not too challenging and we get through the assessment quickly we can go straight into the Action Plan during the same visit.
***I also recommend not to clean any different than usual before I come since I want to see how you really live in the space. Action Plan
After we have determined the issues with your situation, we will sit down together and come up with a plan of action. This discussion is not so much the, "How will it be organized?" plan (that's what you are paying me for), but more for you to share with me the dreams and visions you have for your space or situation. This is where you tell me what will make you happy! I will give you an estimate of how many hours the space may take to organize and we can schedule our first organizing session. Getting Started/Implement
Next it's time to get started working side by side throughout the process. I will be working with you implementing our plan and keep you moving forward! I will help you concentrate on your goal, stay focused and energized, help you think through your decisions, help you find methods that work for you and we will have some fun along the way. We can take breaks when we need and I'm not against music to keep us moving. We can accomplish much more working together!
*** You can make the decision on whether to stay with me during the process, to learn techniques and new systems, or you can be completely hands off. As it is more beneficial for you to go through the process with me, your comfort is very important to me and it is completely up to you! How Long Will It Take? Good Question! There are no hard and fast rules, but some key components are the client's ability to make decisions, client's distractions and the volume of stuff we are working with. I like to work in no less than 3-hour blocks of time. Our goal while working on your space is to get us on a roll! Of course your schedule is important and we can work around just about anything. I know that reaching out to a professional organizer is a new experience for you, so have no doubt you’ll be treated with courtesy, kindness and no judgment! I will never make you feel worse than you currently do, because I understand if you called me, you are stressed and need help. I am here for you! Policies
• Three hour minimum required for all organizing sessions.
• Travel over 30 miles one way will be charged a $0.50 per extra mile.
• I reserve the right to charge different rates for working in any conditions I deem dangerous or hazardous based on the assessment.
•There is a $50.00 fee for cancellation of any work session if the professional organizer is not notified at least 48 hours in advance of the scheduled appointment. Emergencies are handled on a case-by-case basis.
•All personal shopping is paid on the hourly rate.
•No Judgment! Any physical or verbal content expressed during the course of the project will remain confidential and will not be shared with outside parties, unless required by law. Payment:
Payment for services rendered is on an hourly basis, paid to Natural Organizer after each session. Payment is accepted in cash, check, money order or PayPal. Pre-packaged deals are offered where payment is due upfront at a discounted rate. Assessment Fee: $25
