LDS Missionaries: Family and Friends Growing Missionaries... Joys and Challenges. Welcome!!! This page is about wonderful children, youth, couples and families and their desire to serve the Lord.

With children and youth in mind... We are honored to be parents of the children and youth of this generation, and as parents of these wonderful and valiant spirits. We strive to raise them in the ways of the Lord, for them to be worthy to serve a mission for our Savior and Redeemer, Jesus Christ, someday, and to become His disciples. Here, we'll share about many youth and their own choices and efforts that help them become the shining light and example to their friends and associates as they demonstrate and express their testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in many ways. With couples in mind... We believe it is a privileged to be able to serve together formally or informally while spreading a beautiful truth, and help strengthen individuals and families as well as our relationship as couples and eternal companions. With families in mind... We have been counseled to make our homes a CHRIST centered home. Knowing that is not easy due to all the challenges of the world we live in, but with Heavenly Father's help and angels to buoy us up... All can be possible if a sincere desire is in our hearts. We unite in the purpose of Preach My Gospel. “... invite others to come unto Christ by helping them receive the restored gospel through faith in Jesus Christ and His Atonement, repentance, baptism, receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost, and enduring to the end” (Preach My Gospel: A Guide to Missionary Service). Parents, Couples, Leaders and Youth... Feel free to share your stories, thoughts, memories, photos, videos and anything that will inspire others to follow the light of Christ. May the Lord's choicest blessings be upon you for all that you do!

God is shaping us into something only He knows we can become | Sister Tamara W. Runia. First Counselor in the Young Women General Presidency.

✨️ C. S. Lewis explained . . .
"“God intends to give us what we need, not what we now think we want.”

But sometimes we’re puzzled when we get what we need, aren’t we?

How can our loving Father in Heaven watch as we go through heartbreaking experiences?

I’ve wrestled with this, and maybe you have too."

Sister Runia teaches that God is intimately aware of your experience and has a plan for you.

A Simple Story | "...I am His child."
Waiting in the parking lot with my son to be picked up, outside the storage place, we were talking about the difference between quotes and memes.
I told him this one...
👣 "He walks with me, He talks with me, and He tells me I am His own."

I asked, "What's that?"

To that, he replied, "That's a Jesus quote."

The security with which he stated that touched me deeply, for he knew. He knew!

He continued, explaining what it meant to him: "...I am His child."

He also taught me about opposition, what the adversary will do and what Jesus will do, saying of Jesus... "...He will mend you... He will fix you."

I am grateful that I felt inspired to record our simple and special conversation, because he spoke truth.

As imperfectly expressed... to me, it was simply perfect.
