On Monday we had a car vs. School bus accident this young lady Riley Schifferle was on the bus . She also happens to be school safety patrol person at Roy-Hart elementary she knew exactly what to do she worked with the bus driver prior to our arrival and got all the students to the front of the bus and started making sure everyone was okay. Upon our arrival and boarding the bus she remembered some of our members from fire prevention back in October even calling some of them by name. Along with reminding her friends that the fireman are our friends. On Thursday Chief Gurnett stopped by their residence to compliment her and give her some firehall items. Riley and her parents asked about junior members so the seed has been planted . Moments like these make everything worthwhile.
